Our return stay was exactly what we hoped for—smooth check-in, great service, a wonderful lunch on property, and we fully enjoyed the amenities including the gym and pool. A special thank you to Angelina and the team for showing true hospitality and making sure we had a great experience. Having grown up in the area, this hotel has always been a Long Island landmark, and we’re happy to say we’ll definitely be returning for future stays.

Everything was perfect. We had breakfast in bed after a long day before for our wedding. It was the perfect ending to our day. Wish we stayed longer.

Be careful when ordering room service. We ordered a sandwich and flatbread. We thought it was from the restaurant, but it was from the gift shop reheated flatbread, and a pre-made sandwich.

Seems like a lovely place to get married or attend a high school prom. But this place needs to rebrand/remodel/redecorate or rethink its pricing. One could argue it's a great location. But I've paid the same amount per-night to stay in a fairytale, picturesque "grandhotel" built in the 1600's on the shore of an alpine lake in Switzerland. Seems like the Garden City Hotel could use some more local competition.

The only disappointment during this stay was our family dinner at King’s Restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not meet the high standards we have come to expect from the hotel. The dishes lacked the level of preparation and excellence that such a wonderful property deserves. We hope management will address this, as improving the restaurant experience would make the hotel truly exceptional. Overall, we love staying here and look forward to returning again soon.
