Hampton Inn Garden City Long Island

Room was cleaned. Staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet had variety of choices. No complaints!

Breakfast ok for motels. Scrambled eggs. Potatoes and sausage I did not eat. Coffee ok. Orange juice. Bagels and bread to toast. Strawberry yogurt. Pool just big enough for 3 strokes crawl. Opens late. 9 am. So I could not swim early. Wish they’d open pool early

I did not rent a car as I thought charging for parking daily was un heard of as I come to New York every year and have never had to pay for parking at a hotel. In addition, charging $3.00 a bottle for water in your room is a deal braker. Perhaps a $1.50 would be more reasonable as the bottles are not that large. I highly commend your staff as I found them to be helpful, competent and professional. Jacqueline Morgan

We had a wonderful time there, it was clean, staff was very pleasant, and the breakfast was great. The parking was very full.

Great place, very close to shops and stores.

Mostly clean, nice staff, nice facility Bed frame/spring was obviously broken and squeaked all night. Dust in some areas as well as stains. Saw a cochroach in the hallway. Shampoo, conditioner, etc. were glued on cheaply. A bit expensive for these issues.

I didn't like the idea of having to pay for the parking we were a guest at your place. My guess were outrageous and 5 dollars for a bottle of water,not good 10 dollars a night for parking

Hotel room was nice and spacious the staff checked me in early breakfast was good. The only issue was when booking room on hotels.com there was no mention of a $10 per day parking fee. Not sure why they have to charge a fee

Our stay at the Garden City NY Hampton Inn was not a pleasant experience. We woke up after an overnight stay and my wife found, what was apparently, BEDBUGS in one of the beds. We captured one of the critters and took it to the manager. He was very receptive to our concerns. He offered to inspect our suitcase and treat for bedbugs if necessary. He also had our soiled clothes placed in the dryer to kill any bedbugs that had invaded the clothing. When we returned to pick up our belongings, an exterminator was present. He stated that the bugs were, indeed, bedbugs and that he had fumigated the room to eradicate the pests. Overall, the Hampton staff did handle our dilemma well, but our stay certainly left a negative impression with us. The manager did state that he would initiate an incident report. He told us that we should expect a Hilton representative to contact us to discuss our less-than-positive experience.

Excellent hotel. It was as described online. The upfront executive staff Raul and Brandon were excellent.

My 2nd stay at this hotel in a month. For a 2.5 star hotel it's pricey. However, compared to others in the area the price is comparable. The breakfast is amazing and lots of options. Wished Hampton gave free parking. Cleaniness in kitchen was great. Thanks to Blanca who went out of her way to help with my flood allergies. Washroom was spacious liked the walkin shower, There's complimentary tea and coffee at night, however, at night front desk staff kinda miss stocking it quickly as guests live the night cap. Hotel is near malls, plaza, walmart, target, restuarants, wendys, everything within walking distance.Will stay here again - its just convenient.

we were there for a quick trip and everyone was accommodating, the breakfast was delicious, and the kids had a great time in the pool.
