Never ever staying here again, told them I would be checking in after midnight they said no problem since I already had a reservation. I get to the place at 2AM to check in and twice they give me a key card that doesn’t work , the 3rd going back up the key finally works but someone is already in the room. How incompetent do you have to be to make such a huge mistake. Very dangerous for both parties. I came back down visibly upset understandably and they called the cops on me and removed me from the property. How about take accountability as a staff and not blame the guest for a mistake that wasn’t made by them.

The property itself also felt badly dated. The TV was extremely outdated, and the red-painted elevator looked more like an attempt to cover up the property’s deterioration than an actual improvement. Overall, the experience reflected poor attention to both guests and the condition of the property.

Nothing The place was filled with roaches. It was disgusting. Try to get a refund and it took over two weeks to get a partial refund. The experience was horrible. I would never ever recommend anyone to stay in this place. The staff is kind of rude.. very disappointing, especially where it’s located. it shouldn’t look this way and be this way..

The only thing good about this place is the location. Check in was terrible. The young woman at the front counter had a terrible attitude. The room didn’t have usb connections, the bed was terribly sunk in. The vent system didn’t work. Maintenance had to come fix it. The tub wasn’t clean.

Location was good. The tv worked. The vending machine on each floor was out of drinks. They should be checked to be filled each day. No ice in the machine either.

Loud shouting and door slamming throughout the night. The telephone didn't work in the room, so theonly way to contact the front desk was by looking up the phone number on my cell to contact them. It took hotel security over 10 minutes to respond to the persons arguing in the room next door at 4am. The stay was for 4 days. However, I left after the 1st night. I checked out, 15 minutes prior to their check out time of 12 noon, letting them know I was dissatisfied and not staying the additional nights. They assured me that I was checked out and Expedia would send me the reciept. This was not he truth. They did not check me out, or cancel the additional nights. I contacted Expedia, shortly after leaving the hotel, when they advised me that I was indeed still listed as an active guest. If traveling to this area, I would advise you to avoid this hotel.

Inexpensive room. Tv didn’t work. Even after repair guy came to fix. The fix didn’t last long. When checking out next day, I was told to come back to front desk for help. The tv should have been checked to make sure it works before letting the next guest come in.

There Was A Baby Roach In Our Room & Hair On The Bed .. GROSS!!

Not much, they tried 3 different rooms before they found one that had some of the facilities that worked. Only one light worked, TV was so so bed not great. This hotel was really great I have stayed here 2 or 3 times before. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful this time. They charged $3 per night for a safe in the room that was always included in the room rate. I did not need or request one and was charged anyway. The checkout clerk when I asked for credit for the safe I was told by him "it is what it is". I felt that was an inappropriate answer to a hotel client. I could not get a receipt for my stay because I booked thru a "third" party, yet the other Red Roof hotel stays had no problem giving me a receipt & they were also booked the same way.

Upon arrival the entrance lighting and bet lamp lighting were out needing bulb replacement. The Safe had no power, and the sink drain was clogged. I was able to get maintenance staff to correct that pretty quickly but the room wasn’t ready for occupancy. Lastly the coffee maker coffee pack holder/cartridge did not fit in the machine.

Don’t stay there place is dirty old staff terrible please avoid

I had a phenomenal stay at Red Roof Inn Garden City! I originally planned to stay for one day but ended up staying for four. I don’t think breakfast was available, and if it was, I wasn’t aware of it. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast situation—was it included? If so, breakfast and I somehow missed each other for all four days! A clearer heads-up at check-in would help, and if breakfast isn’t offered, adding it would make a phenomenal stay even better.
