Morada Inn - Near Garden Grove Park

We found the facilities absolutely horrible. The place smelled terribly of tobacco and marijuana. When I asked to change rooms, the front desk receptionist completely refused to help me.

Staff very well room was very clean there were not high levels of noise.

Easy parking, helpful staff. But we were not given Wi-Fi password at check-in. There was a cockroach in our room. The pillows were terrible - felt like MyPillow knockoffs and well past their prime. Bed wasn't great either.

For the amount paid , more was expected,

Free parking was lovely. Overall, it felt a little rundown. I was not expecting it to appear as though people resemble living there rather than passing through. I definitely got what I paid for and it was decent enough for a night. The staff was helpful when I wanted to change rooms due to my booking mistake and helped with ease. They also accommodating a later check in time which was helpful.

I really didn’t think smoking rooms were even still a thing but apparently they are and I’m not sure why. The room smelt like the worst smokers house you could imagine. It was immediate as soon as the door opened. The room was as basic as they come which fine, the counters were stained and dirty. I think they put more money into their front office than they have done to their rooms. Tried to ask for an extra blanket because ours smelled so badly of smoke and got told they had none. Slept with our hoodies covering our noses because when you woke up the stale smokers stench would give you a headache. Even having bought sprays they did nothing to help

24 hour front desk, security cameras watching parking lot Only a little burn mark in the sheets, I did walk into my room initially and detected a little bit of smoke. So not sure if someone was smoking in the non-smoking room.
