The breakfast was very good! They had a large variety of food and the buffet was well maintained and stocked. The room was nice with a full sized refrigerator, a cooktop and a microwave. There were no ice machines, but they provided bags of ice for free at the front desk. The elevator was broken for a few days, but we were allowed to use the staff elevator which helped with the wait times. The garden grove shuttle was a plus getting us to and from Disneyland without needing to call an uber. They have a nice little bar in the lobby as well as a small game room and a nice pool with a generous area to sit outside. Staff was amazing! I would highly recommend this place. There was a target and several restaurants nearby.

We visited the Residence Inn in Anaheim with a big group, to enjoy Newport Beach. We reserved a big suite with two rooms and two bathrooms, the rooms and building were a little dated, but it was good enough for what we wanted. There were some issues though, the elevators weren’t working properly so the hotel was kind enough to allow us to use their service elevator as well, special shoutout to the housekeeping staff for being so cool about it. Additionally, Sunday when we checked in, was a very hot and humid day, when we entered the room we realized it was just as hot in there and there was an unusual smell. As we fiddled with the AC we realized it wasn’t working properly, so i contacted the front end and they sent maintenance who worked on it but couldn’t get it going, they brought us some box fans but we spent the night miserably. With the fact that we have small children and older adults in our group, the AC issue was not acceptable. I spoke to the staff again and they assured me that they would attempt to fix it while we were out for for the day, if not they could move us rooms. When we arrived it was much cooler and there was a portable AC unit in the room. I spoke to the front end again and they were able to give me some Marriott Points and they took a night of parking off my bill. It was a tumultuous visit. However, the bright spot was the amazing staff at the hotel, everyone I engaged with was incredible, if I stay there again, it’ll be because of the customer service

Require a lot of renovation. Too much stuff is rundown. Toilet paper holders falling off, paint coming off walls in rooms and bathrooms, shelves not secured to the walls. Location is extremely convenient if you’re going to the parks. But I was not a fan of the condition of the rooms

The property is a great location and easy to locate. It is a great option for families travelers to save on meals because of the kitchen. The property is very family friendly it definitely well thought out. 👍 I would stay again.

On two nights when our room was serviced, housekeeping only provided enough towels for two guests, even though there were three of us registered and staying in the room. The room itself appeared dated and could use some maintenance and updating. The toilet was wobbly and did not feel securely mounted, and it seemed as though the wax ring or base may need to be repaired. The bathtub was also not as clean as I would have expected and had some rust spots. The floor of the tub appeared to dip or cave inward toward the middle, with what looked like a glued-down mat covering part of it. This made it uncomfortable and somewhat difficult to stand securely while showering. The furniture also appeared dated and did not feel particularly clean. Unfortunately, this was by far one of the least clean Residence Inn properties I’ve stayed at. While the friendly staff and convenient location are definite positives, the rooms would greatly benefit from better cleaning, maintenance, and some much-needed updates.

The distance from Disney and the space we had was great for our family. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing, especially when it came to cleanliness and the overall condition of the hotel. The bathrooms did not feel clean, the showers were gross, and there was visible mildew and chipping paint. The bathrooms are definitely in need of an update. The curtains in our room also had holes and rips in them. There was only one functional elevator during our stay, and there were very few luggage carts available. We were unable to get a cart when we arrived or when we checked out, which meant making several trips with all of our luggage. The most disappointing part was the housekeeping service. We specifically asked to have our room cleaned, and when we returned, my son’s blankets had been thrown onto the floor. I considered the floor dirty, so this was extremely upsetting. I couldn’t help but wonder if the staff would want their own children’s blankets thrown onto a dirty hotel floor. Trash cans were also left out, and overall, the room simply did not feel clean after housekeeping had supposedly cleaned it. It felt as though there was very little attention to detail or care put into the cleaning of our room. When you’re staying at a hotel with your family, cleanliness should be one of the most basic expectations. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling like that standard was not met.

The staff is so friendly!!! Clean hotels!!!

Great room size for our family of 6 and dog. The elevator situation was a bit delayed due to 1 being out of order. Breakfast is chaotic and some ppl are rude unfortunately be patient. I would suggest they have more staff attending to the stations and restock of options, it can become very very messy and unpleasant be patient. Overall easy parking and options around for dining are great!

A/C didn’t work in first room but thankfully got moved right away when asked. The worst thing is parking you have to pay $30+ a day and sometimes the parking lot is full especially if you return later at night. The staff don’t tell you they have additional parking or you need to pay and park some place else.

Good location and property overall was okay. The pool area was nice for the kids. The breakfast was helpful in early morning but crazy busy with the Disney people after 8:30. Parking was limited specifically with a $30 a night fee. The linen was dirty on the bed in master and bathroom floor was dirty as well. The fridge was loud making a grinding sound.

Malfunctioning elevators and awful noise level

The rooms were dirty & dusty! They have plastic shower liners in the showers & they are dirty. In the master bedroom it was blood stains on one of the night stands. The tv in the master bedroom & living room area both had parental controls on them & was only literally 3-4 channels available. Very OVERPRICED for them to fumble and have that much stuff messed up. The dishes were all nasty & dirty placed back up in the cabinets.
