Quality Inn Gastonia East

Hotel was dirty The staff was rude when I stayed for one night. It was very unsatisfied.

Price was good. Room was outdated. Wasn't very comfortable outside around other guests, they were loud, smoking Marijuana, shady looking.

Nothing. The room had an awful smell. The rooms were dirty. Used soap bar in the bathroom. Dirty on the floor. Iron did not work. Water took 10 minutes to heat. Pictures online deceived me.1/10 Got to the Hotel and they had cancelled one of my rooms. I was so disappointed. The vending machine only uses cash??? Nothing. The room had an awful smell. Nothing Terrible

We did not stay at this hotel, it was disgusting. We felt very unsafe going into the room we were supposed to stay in and walked right back up to the clerk and requested a refund. The whole place was disgusting.

Place wasn’t as shown in pictures. Once arriving at location my room was dirty, curtains were falling downward onto the floor. Bathtub was dirty & the smell was terrible.

Absolutely nothing. Was in fear for my life because of the resident crackheads and crack horses who also inhabited the parking lot. This is the nastiest place I have ever stayed in. We had three rooms and left after the first night because it was so horrible and horrifying. The room was filthy. In the bathroom the faucet and water turn on did not even attach to the wall. The shower tub combination had huge chips in what past for enamel. The towels were thin and flimsy the floor was filthy. The door to the room did have a turn lock, but the bottom of the door did not meet The Frame evenly and could have been kicked in easily and obviously had been in the past. There were crack whores on the upstairs balcony and wandering around the downstairs entrance, they were crackheads in the parking lot, and all of them were as filthy and nasty as this place was. When I called the front desk to complain. The man said the rooms were clean and that there was no problems with them, and when I said that when we left crack horse were congregating around the doors to our rooms, he said that was impossible. He was obviously an idiot and oblivious to the filth that surrounded him. Don’t stay here unless you have a death wish.

I would not recommend. I’m okay staying in a cheaper hotel, but our room was dirty & smelled like smoke.

Location to Charlotte airport, close to I-85 breakfast options and hours. Only saw 1 staff member at check-in, and he was doing everything. floors were sticky in the room. neighboring guests were standing outside their door smoking. Nobody was in the lobby next morning. waffle iron wasn't working - at first. later started working.

The food

I liked the closeness to downtown Gastonia. Check-in was easy check-out was even easier. Staff And cleaning, ladie, very kind. She caught me right before I left and gave me my charger. Thank you, call it in for giving us an easy stay. This is where i'm supposed to put things that I don't like , but I have to say things to people that have put things that they don't like. I don't know what people expect when you're getting a hotel for under a $100 right off-highway 85. In gastonia north carolina. Any city that you get a hotel in is going to have homeless people is going to have drugs and is going to have loud people. Get over it.Take the nice price that you paid for a decent hotel. No roaches, nothing smells bad. Perfect for the price.

The bed was comfortable First two rooms we were put in the doors would not secure and they were kicked in at one point. Safety was definitely a concern. Front desk tried to argue about the doors. Did move us thank goodness! Choice hotels might want to check in on this quality inn and ensure that they start holding up their standards.

Good people Room location

Parking is very tight...AC was good.. there was no remote control for the TV...people walking around and talking all times of the night

Convenient Room not cleaan

Don't get room 116 it smells like piss this place is no good and my boss keeps booking this place because it is cheap the people who runs the place are not friendly
