Comfort Suites Georgetown

The hotel cleanliness was ok. I would have preferred the elevators were cleaner. The breakfast was as expected. Not great but typical. The coffee was really good. All the employees we encountered were wonderful, very helpful. Our beds would have been ok for one night but for 3, not even enough...not firm at all.

I think it is weird that they offer their pool to a swim school lesson place and monopolize the pool area for hours. There was nothing posted telling us the pool was unavailable during the day. I think it was 5 - 7:30 something like that. They said we could use half the pool, but it was very busy with a lot of parents and children in a small space. apparently they do it a lot and it should be posted!

Bad

Beds were comfortable, towels were extra large & soft, and the rooms were clean. Getting clean towels the next day was absolutely no problem! Some things that need attention - the door to the room was not very safe, ice machines were out of order, the in room refrigerator was not very cold, and the windows definitely need replaced - can hear everything outside. It would be nice to offer a pop machine at breakfast.

The pool and the hot tub was horrible. The paint was peeling, and spiderwebs and other insects were on some of the pool equipment and near the chairs. The hotel is ancient. All the decor needs to be replaced. The hot tube and the pool needs to be resurface/reface. Staff was kind the breakfast wasn’t all that great.

I did not think the tile floor was clean enough, the desk chair had crumbs on it from a prior guest, and the bathroom had dirt under the toilet.

Friendly staff. Young lady at front desk remembered me from staying there approximately 2 months ago. Bed was comfortable, room clean and located in a good location close to stores, restaurants and easy access to highway.

Filthy room with mold. Rude staff, who had an attitude the moment we pulled in. Not worth the price. Could have stayed at the Best Western for half the price. Will never stay at any location again.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff.

It was right off the interstate and close to places to eat. The pool ceiling was leaking, not a small leak, the length of the entire ceiling. The hot tub did not have the actual jet modulators so the holes for the jets were creating huge waves, so the only way to fix was to turn jets off. It was a depressing pool area and made me feel dirty and like I was not safe where I was. The bathtub had someone else’s hair, dirt, and specks of dried soap or shampoo that was not green like what was in the dispenser. There was black and red mold growing and it looked like caulk was used to cover it. There was a huge crack in the shower wall that was filled in with caulk. The shower curtain was missing the snap insert. It was nasty, I felt like I didn’t have the same “rights” as someone who booked directly, I had already paid through Booking, or else I would have left. I feel like the reviews I quickly read while I was stopped at a gas station MUST have been AI. There is no way that place should have such good ratings. I just wanted to be able to stop at my halfway point, and let my granddaughters go swimming, they are 7 and didn’t want to go in the pool. I was just watching them in the hot tub staring at everything, not the standard they are accustomed to.
