Kindness and helpfulness of the staff! Neat and clean and close in distance to the things that I want to do. I was satisfied with everything . Being and going there as a single person, I wasn’t looking for a pool or gym and amenities that would raise the price!

The towels provided were clean but tread bare and did not absorb the water , but rather push it off your skin.

no breakfast. Great peaceful location, easy access to town and battlefield. Very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed at this motel 50 years ago. Enjoyed then and enjoyed it this trip. Will absolutely stay there again.

Motel is old but clean.
-
no breakfast. I had to pay for ice $25, and then it only gave out 1/4 of the standard ice bin.

Front desk never checked IDs so even after I told then I paid online for my room they also billed me for my parents. Rooms kinda dumpy like it hasnt been updated in years. Exhaust fan didnt work so plan leaving the room door open if you gotta use the bathroom. Outlet all spark and plugs fall out. Diverted on the shower is messed up so most shower water comes out the faucet. I dont usually bad mouth a place but pay the extra money and stay somewhere else. We were only there over. Ight forna soccer tournament so luckily we inly spent about 10 hours in the room

location was terrific. no coffee pot in room. It was o.k. to throw throw away used plastic glass located in sink, but it should have been replaced. A pastry (or similar should be offered.

The place was quaint but tired, floor creaked and a/c basically didn’t cool the room. Felt safe and like parking right in front of room and the chair outside allowed some fresh air. However, I noticed that you have to pay to get ice from the ice machine and that’s just cheap. Also, the linens were threadbare, and the towels were sandpaper rough. For the price of the room, I expected more. A smart TV would have also been nice

Basic motel- cheap. Basic motel- but the linens are stained. Heat is hard to turn on- all or nothing. The TV was fine last night, but tonight it turns itself off every 20 minutes.

I liked the location, the room was great. No Complaints

Fantastic owner

Room was very old and outdated. Towels were scratchy and old.
-
The room was clean and it was very close to the attractions When it came to the bed, there were only two sheets to use as a blanket ( a comforter would have been preferred).
-
We were unable to stay in the rooms due the cleanliness. Upon checking the mattresses, there was bugs found on the sheets. We checked out immediately.
-
It was clean and a great value. The toilets were not chair hight and made it hard to get off of.
-
Friendly staff. Everything was as expected. Would stay again.

Great location. Super easy to find, then get in and out of because it's not in a built-up area. You can park your vehicle 10 feet from your room door. The baseboard heaters work great, as I only visit here from Nov-Apr to hike the battlefield. The bath water was hot enough, but the water from the sink was cold. I don't think they have A/C here, which wouldn't be good for warm weather months.
