Room, bed and amenities very nice and comfortable. Gas fireplace in room. Room located in different building from main office. One on flight of stairs then 2 smaller flights to room. Room was spacious and very clean. Located on the main road into and out of Gettysburg so rather noisy at times from semis, motorcycles and people impressed with gunning their car engines. Train track a block over and a couple a day - but not like 4am ala "My Cousin Vinny". Two choices of breakfast times - 8am 9am. We were seated promptly. Fruit and home made pastries are first on the plate and very 3-4 nice choices of breakfast, from egg casserole bakes to omelets, plus fresh OJ and other drinks. Very nice place to stay.

Our stay at the Brafferton was convenient to the historic battlefield of Gettysburg. It’s right in the town of Gettysburg with nearby restaurants and such. The hosts were delightful and the breakfast was delicious. The building is a historic site itself!! With a lovely courtyard that you can access from the original building where you check in. Our room could use some updating without loosing the historic charm.

The Brafferton Inn is a lovely place to stay in downtown Gettysburg. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was charming and comfortable. Each morning we were served an amazing breakfast which was included with our stay. We would definitely be back and highly recommend anyone wanting to be right in the middle of town to stay here as well. Thank you Brian and Amy.

Everything about our stay at The Brafferton Inn was superb. The hosts are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area. The location is probably the best I have seen in Gettysburg. Breakfast was lovely! We will be returning.

Should be noted there are LOTS of steps; fortunately was not a problem for us but it might be for some.

we wanted historic and got it. it was a very hot day, so any respite was good, and any annoyance would have been significant. fortunately, ez and comfortable. these hosts are from Boston, so it has New England laid back intelligence and class. the property itself is interesting. all the rooms looked interesting. the breakfast was maybe too much, though some probably like it that way. i think they could go lighter, though it's an impressive show and they are morning people! if you want to nitpick, some of the bulbs were mismatched, which is an easy fix (maybe deliberate diversity). when you like the people who are working hard, you want to pitch in! certainly the best b&b ever for us, and best gettysburg lodging option (last time i was on the circle with a hot tub, but this is better, and well priced). i wish i were there now sitting in the parlor room in an old chair with the local paper and coffee enjoying the ambience.

Great welcome by innkeeper Amy. Great location in downtown Gettysburg. Great building history.

My room was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. They helped me with luggage since I stayed at the Eisenhower room on the 3rd floor of adjacent building. Parking was easy, convenient and free. I’ll be back on my next visit to Gettysburg!
