Fabulous hotel, clean, spacious great staff free parking. Can't go wrong with chandeliers, a grand piano and a canon in the lobby!

Room needed a deep clean but was fine. Beds were comfortable.

Room was good. Pool was okay. Water was a little foggy and the towels thwy provided at the pool were nothing more than dish rags. The hotel itself was clean but could use some much needed repairs in areas. Otherwise, I did enjoy the stay here.

The air conditioning in the room was inadequate. When we arrived the room was 78 degrees. We turned on the air conditioner and after 2 hours, the room was only 77 degrees. Spoke with Roger from maintenance who was very nice. He checked to make sure the a/c was turned on correctly (which it was) and it was set for 65 degrees. He also checked the air coming out of the a/c which was 62 degrees. He stated it takes forever for the rooms to cool down and to keep the a/c where it was at. By the time we got up the next day the room was down to 70 degrees but it never reached the 65 degrees that the thermostat was set at. Also, the pool area was very hot and humid making it almost unbearable to sit in the area while the children were in the pool.

Also, they allow dogs which is a negative for me and I love dogs however dogs sniffing and smelling in the elevator and halls simply should not be in a hotel! I highly recommend the Wyndham!

Nice
-
King room with a tiny tv. Lots of extra space in room- could use a table beside chair. King bed not real comfortable.
-
Convenient to downtown Gettysburg. Pool and hot tub were nice. Complimentary water in the lobby was great. Staff got broken coffee machine replaced quickly.
-
Only had a couple chairs by the pool to sit to watch the kids play. Breakfast took forever to get

Our first time here. Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and nicely located. Our only concerns were the elevators were not working properly. This can be an issue in a six story hotel. Plus the room TV was disappointingly small. Might be the smallest TV in the last 20 years of traveling.

Great stay at the hotel. The only thing we found lacking at most hotels on our trip was a microwave. Other than that the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful!
-
Just not cool enough in rooms but it was during a 100 degree heat wave so I am sure AC could not keep up. Hotel was very clean and convenient location.

As expected nice room showing signs of age. Plenty of space for the whole family. Wouldn’t recommend breakfast if you are in a hurry.

OK, place to stay if you have very low expectations. The staff was not helpful at all, offered to send my wife to Walmart to get quarters for their laundry room. TV remote did not work, TV was too small. The guy upfront was terrible who checked us in. Didn’t seem to know anything. For a family of four, there was no place to hang towels in the bathroom. We ate at the Oak room as well and had terrible service there. Orders were wrong, we had to ask for more water after our glasses sat empty for too long. Overall would never stay here again.

Service was excellent as usual! The epitomize hospitality.

This is the cleanest hotel we have stayed in. The room was clean, the carpet was clean, the bathroom was clean as well. The staff was very polite and helpful when needed. The water station was not well maintained, every time we stopped to get water after coming in from the heat both jugs were empty. This was the hottest week in years and would have been nice to have a cup of water when we arrived at the hotel. I still give 5 stars because our stay truly felt like a 5 star hotel. Also the group seating areas in the lobby was a nice resting spot.

Always a fun and comfortable stay. Staff is helpful and courteous
