Candlewood Suites Gillette by IHG

Incredibly friendly staff, very conveniently located, and because it is an extended stay hotel they have lending lockers for items you might need for cooking or staying in the hotel. Towels are teeny tiny. Not a problem if you are staying for awhile, you likely have your own, but for a weekend with the family due to a sports tournament it was rough. It was also a little worn and could use a refresh in the shower areas especially.

We travel with our cats. It is difficult to find really nice places to stay with them. Very pleased with this facility....and the cats were happy too.

The staff were very nice. Someone knocking on the door early in the morning asking if I wanted late checkout wasn't cool. Otherwise the stay was perfectly adequate.

This was a lovely apartment-like room.. We fixed ourselves dinner and were very comfortable here! Everything was perfect.

Very clean room, property was nice. No breakfast, but we knew that ahead of time. There were options for breakfast nearby. We would stay there again.

Location. Nice front desk staff. Close parking. No elevator available and unaware until checked in. Had to walk up three flights of stairs. The carpets in the hallways are a bit old and dirty appearing The exterior of the building. definitely looks more outstanding relative to the interior. The toilet flapper valve didn’t work, but it was so late. I fixed it myself. That’s not quite right.

Great customer service and very clean rooms . Highly recommend.

The location was convenient. There was no breakfast and only one bed. I obviously misread the website.

There was mud in the hallway outside our room. There were signs on the outside (side entrance) of the building by our room to clean your feet. They even had booties for your shoes. They had a boot scraper outside. The boot scraper had not been cleaned in a long time. It looked like it was covered in mud and rained on and covered again. Someone should clean the mud scrapers daily so they function as intended. Someone should maintain the boot scraper outside daily. There wasn't a rug to wipe your feet on at the side entrance where the mud scrapers were located. There wasn't a rug inside the building to wipe your feet and make sure they are clean.I understand that it's the guest responsibility to clean there feet. It wasn't our mud. I've been where you work in the mud out of town. Give the guest some help. We were on vacation not work. We were surprised a IHG motel didn't have breakfast. We missed that on reading the amenities.
