Wingate by Wyndham Gillette

Bed was hard and lumpy. All pillows were hard and lumpy. Had to unplug the fridge due to noise. No hot water at the sink. TV had no reception or cable and did not connect to wifi.

Definitely plan to stay there again!

The room was very nice and comfortable. It was very quiet overall aside from slamming doors from people leaving in the morning. The place smelled clean and the staff was very friendly. Love a hotel that smells good!

Breakfast was very good. Staff member worked very hard to keep area clean and stocked

Room was not ready when arrived. Had to wait until they cleaned. On night 2 we requested towels that never came. My husband was also cut on his arm by a broken door. He had to wait for towels and bandages were given by front desk.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The toilet didn’t flush well. Everything else was very good.

Standard room which is was fine. Pillows are basically throw pillows with cases. They are tiny and flatten quickly. Our toilet was rusted and didn’t appear clean.

Our room smelled like feet and the door jam was broken and not fixed or replaced properly. The door still locked, but it was concerning for sure. Also had mold in the shower.

This hotel should not have an8.0 rating, 4 at most. The toilet wobbled, there was messes of caulking in the shower. Outside door was visibly broken and garbage strewn in parking lot. In dire need of repairs.

Room was clean and seemed updated. Breakfast was good- A/C worked great in 100 degree weather!

Location was convenient. Great friendly staff. The king bed was very good. We also required the queen sofa foldout, which was very uncomfortable. The springs and wire frame were very uncomfortable to sleep on. It had basically no padding.

We were in Gillette for a youth tournament during excessive heat and when we asked the staff if there was anyway to fill water containers, they said "we lost the pitcher" and were leas then enthusiastic or helpful. We had issues during breakfast and when we tried to speak to a staff member about it they rolled their eyes at us. Overall, not the best stay and I would not recommend to others.

Staff were nice and helpful. Property needs updated. Rooms have a horrible smell.

I would definitely recommend a stay at this Hotel. The only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated, and the hottub wasn’t working

The hot pool was not working and the water in the pool was very cold.

The hot tub and pool were closed down due to lack of chlorine. We were obviously disappointed but understand this happens. The employee at the counter was rude in her explanation. She gave us a far room and I explained that my husband has difficulty walking and I had requested a room near the lobby. She said (rudely) that there was nothing she could do about it because we had booked third party. She continued to be rude about anything I asked. There was another woman at the counter that seemed to be trying to help us but she kept cutting her off saying they couldn’t help us because we booked third party and we get what we get. My husband had to make the long difficult walk to our room. The manager said the next morning that there was a room next to the lobby and there was no reason that the employee couldn’t have put us there nor any reason for her to treat us differently because we had booked third party. She said she would contact Expedia to give us a refund. I have not heard from her or gotten a refund. In fairness to the hotel…it was nice. No reason not to stay there other than the treatment we received.
