The Oaks Motel

The bed is so comfortable and immedically, I fell asleep early after 4pm woke up 2am. That bed is awesome! No backache. No artithris. No headache from No neck ache. When I woke up, Wonderful feeling !! Out walking to Murray ave from the oaks. Not very far. I feel fine. Thank You! Faith Lucero

The bed linens are not replaced for every guest. The room appears generally clean, yet it is an older hotel with sparse, basic facilities. There is a persistent sewer smell in the bathroom. The neighborhood is a bit unsafe. There was a homeless person acting erratically right outside the entrance.

Oh and if you want to know how long this hasn't been upgraded, they still use a regular house key for the rooms. Would have no problem with that if the rooms were at least half way habitable...

This property and our room were old, in poor repair, and filthy. It does not deserve a rating of 7 on the hotels.com website! We are long-time budget travelers and choose a room based on price and review rating. This was our first real disappointment and don’t understand how the Oaks Motel in Gilroy, CA, could have received a rating higher than 3.

The Oaks Motel is a nice motel in a good location.

the area was great and location, but this hotel... was not the one. our room bathroom, the toilet wouldnt flush and the showerhead had a leak, bed was not comfortable and towels were very dirty, the bedding was awful. Never again

Very pleasant, clean,. Just a very basic stay.

2nd home. Nothing.

The sheets were clean. The property was worse than awful. Old and filthy flooring and walls and window. The one window had this old black curtain on a rod that was OLD and ragged. The Air conditioner was dusty, grimy, just filthy. The buttons were worn through. The baseboards, room corners, against walls filthy with dusty dirt. There was a boot print on one wall. Walls were patched and splotch painted. The restroom was the worse, floor filthy, scraped linoleum, shower molded. The entire environment was scary. People looked like thugs smoking weed and boozing. We stayed 30 min then left. I lost 145$ but, no way was my husband and I staying. Could not sleep in that filth. Do NOT stay here!! Booking.com needs to remove them from their list.

I was woken up in the middle of the night with banging on the wall and then banging on my door. It was frightening.

Everything. Perfecto.

The whole entire establishment. Everything was & is great.

The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was clean. I felt that the location was safe. I would stay there again if I needed an affordable night's stay. There was not anything that I did not like.

Staff & rate. They are solid people. Everything was fine, no problems.
