Upon arrival, I pulled back sheets to find they were dirty. The front desk acknowledged my request for a new room. After checking in my new room, I discovered the water in the shower not getting hot, and a leak next to the big. I was moved again, only to find debris on the floor and pizza under the nightstand. I was moved again and the new room was clean, however, there was an odor I wasn't too satisfied with upon entering. I also requested a cleaning for the room, to which they changed towels, but neglected the beds. Didn't even rinse out the sink... Overall, the staff was super helpful and understanding.

Planned a peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway with my daughters only to arrive to an absolutely filthy hotel. The three rooms we were sent to were horrible. The pool, something the girls were looking forward to, had trash in and around it. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. He gave me a full refund. Stranded with nowhere to go, I booked into a nearby hotel but had to pay twice as much! I called customer service for Choice. While they were apologetic for the experience, they did nothing more to make up for my experience. Overall, disappointing experience.

In a good note: bed was comfortable

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

First room had dead bugs in the bathroom and dirt under the cabinets. Next room had a toilet that didn't flush. Third room was okay. Definitely an older hotel that has seen better days but the sheets were clean and beds were comfy with lots of pillows.

I arrived at the property around 4:45 pm, it was now going on 6:15 p.m. and I just got into my room only to find out the this room had no working television!!! I will never stay at that property again nor will I ever use the services of Expedia again. All in all, this has been the WORST travel experience of my live. Thanks for nothing!

Pooly maintained property, with dirt and rust stains in the bathroom, continuously leaking shower faucet that could not be turned off, and sometimes surly, unhelpful receptionists

It was just bought by a new ownership and boy this property needs a lot of work. You notice things like damage to the wood in the elevator, hallways, entry doors. Missing wallpaper everywhere. An empty “pantry” area at check-in where you normally find snacks and drink. A lot of potential but it will take a while to get there.

Dark hallways, dark carpets, dark elevator with safety inspection from 2021, the familiar smell of a room that needs airing out. My room had the oldest AC unit ever but after I got used to the noise it was fine. Bathroom was clean and toiletries were good. There was an outlet that looked like it had recently been installed as there was no switch cover. Bathroom had recently been painted as noted by the paint spatters on the toilet seat. Went down for the breakfast at 910 am on Sunday. I saw four pieces of bread and two packets of instant oatmeal. No fruit, no yogurt, nothing else. The attendant said good morning - I figured he was there to keep an eye on those four lonely slices of bread. Went down again for breakfast on Monday at 710 am - figured I'd try again. No food, no notice, no explanation as to why nothing was available. As I was checking out, I understood the reason but shouldn't a manager have said something? There are three other hotels in a 1/4 mile radius. Choose one of them. Again, clean and functional is in the room...

The second room smelled like smoke, the freezer was so iced over it wouldn't close, the couch was filthy, and the bathroom was questionable enough that I cleaned it myself with my travel supplies. After dinner, a complete stranger unlocked and opened our room door because the front desk forgot to update the room assignment in the system. The response was basically, "Oops." Other issues: no working ice machines on the upper floors, the only one downstairs was in a dark room with broken lights, and the pool was supposedly open until 10 p.m., but staff admitted the pool lights didn't work and said to swim at our own risk. The final straw was pulling back the bed sheets and finding bugs in the bed. We packed immediately. The third room they showed us was just as bad—broken lights, curtains hanging off, and another dirty, smelly couch. We left and checked into the Hilton Garden Inn instead. Expedia initially told me the hotel denied my refund request. The next morning, after 45 minutes of arguing with management and showing photos of everything, I finally received a full refund. This hotel is in deplorable condi

We got a good deal on this room so I feel bad being too rough on a review, but honestly it was pretty bad. We felt unsafe the entire time. There was some sort of high school basketball team staying on our floor and they were staying in the hallway yelling and raising all sorts of hell. We tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room just didn't work at all. Called on our cell and they didn't answer, repeatedly. Just about everything in the room was broken. Bedside lamp was mostly broken and definitely a fire hazard. It was hanging on by a wire. The clip that holds up the shower head was broken so it was tied up by a shoelace. The ceiling right above the shower head was moldy and falling down. The comforter had a burn spot. The flip lock on the door was just broken off. The workout room was incredibly hot. Over 90 degrees. A couple of treadmills, a couple of ellipticals and some 45+ lbs free weights. The room thwt the pool was in was just as hot. And you could see all sorts of debris floating. Almost like the filter wasn't working. Would not recommend.

The hotel was nicer than most, and the room appointments were good too. But any hotel that is still using mattresses with metal springs/rails and has an abundance of Wifi/4G/5G microwave signals in the building, especially at sleeping hours, is doing an extreme dis-service to the guests. I was shocked by the mattress most of the night, often enough, not constantly, but enough to not be able to sleep soundly, which is quite expensive to have compromised so easily. Doesn't anyone realize that metal attenuates microwave signals? And spiral vertical bed springs redirect the signal upwards into the body? It's called bed cancer, and you guys are delivering. Why is this not obvious to you hotel experts? So I am very unsatisfied with the poor sleep quality so far. It seems very few hotels have learned to not make this mistake. It would have been a wonderful stay if not for this. I slept better on the tiny couch because it didn't shock so often. It doesn't take much shock while sleeping to disturb sound sleeping if you didn't know already. I am here for surgery, so rest is very important, and this sticking point is hurting my well being.

This may have been one of the worst hotels ive stayed at yet. we were only checked in for two nights. We checked in late night, and were helped by the man at the front desk (very nice and sweet). We made it to our room on the third floor, and instantly could tell the room was just surface cleaned. I go to lay down on the bed, and there were little hairs on the pillow case, which i just brushed off without making it a big deal. I was traveling with 3 other people, so we got the room with the foldout bed couch. My Father went to lay on that almost injured his back. He wouldve been better off sleeping on a sheet of nails. The metal rods were sticking up too high so when someone lies down pressure goes straight to the back. Later, when i go to shower, the drain is clogged, and the only water coming out was boiling hot, We immediately went downstairs to resolve this issue after a tiring 7 hour drive down here, hoping to change rooms. Which she told us we would have to pay for another room, insane considering we didnt have a working shower.. whatever. And then at the front desk this HUGE dog is running around unattended, hoping into the elevators, going up to people, being WILD. This was a DOG HOTEL not a HUMAN HOTEL. Then a SECOND DOG begins running around unattended at 11 for 1 HOUR. The receptionist said the owner paid for the dog room which is additional fee, and the dogs opened the door. The pet room is extra $, it cant even secure the pets. Scam. our 2nd rooms filled w roach

The room still had someone’s clothes the closet. The room smelled of smoke. A couple of guys followed my wife and little cousin around the building causing them to feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The pool was off colored and all doors were held open by rocks. Went to the store and my kids called crying because a Mexican man walked in our room and he used a key but he was intoxicated and they had to push him out of them room.
