Hyatt Place Richmond/Innsbrook

I enjoyed how comfortable it was and how great the complimentary breakfast is.

We stayed 5 days and 4 nights and were told at check-in that housekeeping would come on alternate days. This never happened — no one showed up for housekeeping at any point during our stay, even after we called the front desk on day three to request it. Additionally, the toilet in our room was clogged from the day we arrived. A service man came and temporarily cleared it, but it wouldn't stay clear even after just a couple of empty flushes. As a result, all four of us had to go down to the first floor lobby washroom every time we needed to use the restroom, for all 4 nights of our stay. This was extremely inconvenient and disruptive, especially at night. When we raised these issues with front desk staff, we were told that since we booked through a third party, there was nothing they could do — despite these being basic service failures that should apply regardless of booking channel. Given that we had to clean our own room throughout the stay and were left without a working washroom for 4 nights with 4 guests, we would like to request compensation for these inconveniences. We hope this feedback helps improve service for future guests and leads to a fair resolution for us.

The staff that night was horrible and mean

Selected multi room high floor option. The bathroom is little small due to wrong door swing direction. Switch door to swing outward help improve the bathroom access.

We stop here every year on our way home. Clean, comfortable and everyone is friendly.

Our room was clean and the free breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly too. The only odd thing I can say is the placement of the bathroom in our room was different than most hotel rooms but it was clean so I guess that's all that really matters.

Always love Hyatt. Great facility, parking was a touch tricky because the parking lot was packed and there were buses but we were able to find a spot. Great area, safe and close to plenty of shopping and dining. Clean facility, comfy beds and quiet atmosphere. Sofa bed was also comfortable and clean.
