Glen Capri Inn & Suites - Burbank Universal

This motel is old and looks sketchy. Our room was behind/not even connected to the main office by the dumpster. One day no bfast served due to technical reasons. Next day we were at dining/reception area (yes, shared area) at 8:35am for bfast and we were told no more food though they were supposed to have bfast til 9am. Not coming back here. I give this 1 out of 5 stars

The first night I couldn’t get to an atm arrived at 130-2 in the am alone and they made me walk the streets

Property was filthy ….the first unit they put us in the door would not open. It was jammed and could only be open with a physical key the front desk had. They offered us the room still knowing that the door didn’t work and I have no idea why because why would we want to call down and wait each time we need to leave the room? The second unit the gave us was downstairs. Everything was filthy. The AC unit was broken and all the pieces were on the floor. It was 89 degrees and they wanted us to stay in there with no ac. I immediately contact Expedia and requested a refund sent pictures of the room and explained the situation but they advised the hotel would need to be the one to process the refund. This was weds night it’s now Sunday and we still do not have our refund…. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone not even if it was free.

Also, the bed did not have a complete set of sheets. It only had a bottom sheet and a blanket. There was no top sheet. Also, the air conditioner was extremely loud and made a lot of noise. I would not stay at this motel again.

I came here with My family and my three-year-Old we came to check in they told us that our room wasn’t ready yet that the system was updating that it would be five to 10 minutes, which is fine we waited we went back. They said to give them more time so we waited 10 more minutes when we finally got the room key. The room smelt awful like a sewer there was holes in the room. The curtains looked disgusting. There was mosquitoes and random bugs in the room. The TV wasn’t working. so when I went to go talk to the staff on shift to help me switch rooms he said he would have to talk to his boss and to give him 20 minutes we waited and and waited finally, we decided to go get food and give him more time to figure out if we could switch rooms no answer. No call after almost 3 hours of waiting for a response to rooms we gave up and asked for a refund. He all of a sudden had a room available for us. The room was slightly cleaner room and a TV that does work. We ended up just leaving early and finding another hotel, do not recommend coming here really bad customer service and experience

There’s really nothing good I can say about this property. It really should be shut down. Beware

Should’ve read more on the reviews. Charged for parking over night on the property but others who do not pay for example employee or customers from restaurants around the property can park on the property even take over TWO parking spots and not get charged or towed for it (yes I reported it to front desk and they said it could be the people at the restaurants around so they were not going to do much about it). Breakfast bar issue waffle machine was out of order. No microwave in room, mini fridge doesn’t cool enough and ace has missing buttons. Place is good if you just need a place to rest your head for the night.
