Extended Stay America Select Suites Denver Cherry Creek

This hotel turned me away after I had booked online with no ounce of empathy or regard for my humanity and sent me to wander the streets of Denver at night alone while my phone was dead

Room was stinky and floors were horribly dirty. Socks were black just from walking around the room. Beds were very uncomfortable. Bathroom was not very clean. Had to remove own trash from room and take it to the dumpster

VERY CLEAN ROOM.

Lots of hair in bathroom, sheets smell like used not change fresh bedding

no blow dryer nor iron to borrow, had to buy a blow dryer at at goodwill

Looks OK on outside--inside rooms the cabinetry and sinks/tub etc were old and worn--went to turn on lamp and found gum stuck on it-- did not provide any amenities except 1 bar of soap -- 2 towels and 2 washcloths-- for 2 people not enough. Has kitchenette but no pans or etc so if want those have to go out around the building and to the office which is a separate building (entrance to 2nd floor is around backside of building up a hill so you walk in at ground level on back but are 2nd floor in front of building). No ice on site, or breakfast or pool (which we knew)-- we picked solely for location but thought for the price we paid and the amenities not there it was way overpriced. We paid less the night before for a much better room. Would not stay again

The front desk staff was very friendly and understanding The quality of the room and kitchenette was a bit shocking. Smelled like someone has been living there with a cat. Kitty litter still in corners of room

Floor had something spilled on it wiped it with tissue the tissue was BLACK. Floor was disgusting

The parking and accessibility to stores and Etc was great. The room itself was fine. The amenities were very low. The ventilation is poor. And when I say A lacking of amenities I mean no coffee, you have to request shampoo, and lukewarm bath water.

Inexpensive and kept up pretty well. The room had a shower head just hanging down but worked OK. I have balance issues and the tub had no bars or mat. Desiree at the front desk was kind and helped me get into a different room.
