Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Rancho Cordova/Folsom

The hotel was not what it looks like in the photos. Some renovations have been done, however the room was a mix of new and extremely old furniture. The new furniture was so dirty, I wouldn’t sit on it. It also appears that they accept section 8/homeless vouchers. I ended up checking out in less than an hour after I checked in. It was a complete waste of money.

The room is very clean and the breakfast was excellent

Cons: We had ants in the bathroom and kitchen—not a huge infestation, but enough to be unpleasant. I reported it to the front desk, and was told they would see what could be done. Apparently, nothing, because the ants were crawling on me later that night. Also, our key cards stopped working after our first day when we were there for two days. The front desk staff fixed the key cards easily, but it was inconvenient to have them not work when we were juggling bags and other things, trying to use a useless key cards easily.

Affordable pricing and good location for my trip. Room could have been cleaner. Some bugs in room, furniture stained/ dirty. Water pressure in shower would randomly decrease and return to normal.

It was close to where I needed to go They charged me extra for arriving early 1 hour they could of worked with me but they got greedy I promise I won’t stay there again I’ve stayed there before but they didn’t care

The sheets and bedding were not clean. Blood stains and yellowing. Ripped bedding.

Easy check in. Clean pool. Safe location. Very clean property
