Comfort Suites Goodlettsville Rivergate

Got in the elevator to go to the 2nd floor the door closed and nothing happened, luckily was able to get the door back open. It apparently had jammed, lady at the front desk said you had to keep pushing whatever floor number you were going to, I just decided to take the stairs. In the elevator where it shows the floor number had been ripped out and all around it just did not feel safe to me. Carpets were outdated, dirty, and smelled. The only two good things were the whirlpool tub and the bed was comfortable. Lady at the counter wasn’t really friendly, more like aggravated to deal with anyone.

Location and rate The room and breakfast area could have been a little bit cleaner.

Clean rooms and the staff was amazing

Nothing The guy was at the front desk in the night I asked him to fixed something was damaged in my bathroom tub he came to my room checked it out then he said I’ll be back to change ur room then he never shows up again and when I checked out the old lady was taking over I asked her for a copy of my receipt she said can not give me I have to do it online that’s crazy fr

Bring your own towels and wash rags which most people sometimes do because according to them if it’s dirty, they’ll charge you to replace it ain’t that a blip

Manager very rude. I went for my aunt's funeral. Haf to pay $50 for a 45 minute early check in. The room air conditioner did not work but I had to change clothes to get to the funeral for 3 o'clock. Traveled from Houston. Hotel dirty. I will never stay at a comfort inn. Individual owned according to Comfort Inn Corp. Owned by Om Sai 9 LLC.

In a bad area

They charged us $50 for a early check in after we told them we wanted to change for a funeral. The tub was old and nasty the air didn't work in the first room and the carpet and the room had a smell. The staff was rude and because we booked through Expedia they wouldn't give me a receipt after charging my card for a hold when i payed prior to arrival when I initially booked online.

The pictures on line were deceptive. Front entrance was old and outdated with odors. Carpet was spotted, baseboards white in color but black with dirt. Elevator had debris on floor as you step in. "John" was very accommodating as the front desk person by showing 3 different rooms, due to him seeing my utter disappointment. A roach crawled on the wall in the room, sofa was spotted and carpet was spotted everywhere.

Hotel is not a bad stay it's in a great location for shopping, and restaurants. The staff must have been short during the Labor day weekend. But the one that were there are very nice and helpful filling in where needed.

The AC smell so bad

The breakfast was very good. I still can't make perfect waffles!!! Everything was great. Elevator was good, everything smelled good, comfortable for me.

Shower could have been cleaner

I would have given them a 3 star up until this morning. It seemed relatively clean besides the dingy hallway floors and rust stain in the tub. The breakfast wasn’t that great. It was what you’d expect mostly for $76. Then this morning as I was in the bathroom getting ready to leave a little baby roach started crawling on the wall. I was so creeped out and wondering if anything crawled in my luggage. Had it happened earlier in my stay I would have mentioned it to them. Won’t be going back.
