Hampton Inn Grand Junction Downtown/Historic Main Street

The rooms were DARK! Only one little desk lamp which helped very little.

We were unaware that parking was an added expense.

The parking is a little tight, other hotels share the parking space downtown. We had a pick up. The location is nice. downtown Grand Junction is much nicer than just driving by on the highway.

The hotel was located in a great location. They provided a great breakfast. Parking was OK very disappointed in the surprise $14 parking fee and you need to take a picture of your license plate before you check in.

The rooms barn door to the bathroom was huge and I had to be careful not to get a hand caught. It was also the closet door so if the bathroom was open the closet was shut. The tub did not drain and there were rust stains in the tile at the grab bar. I was not made aware of the parking charge. Charging that was awful due to no other options. I Will not be a returning customer.

The room was adequate and convenient, but the bedding wasn’t as good as it used to be at the Hampton Inn. The pillows used to be better and the sheets were softer before. The breakfast is lame. The same powdered eggs.

The location was perfect! Downtown Grand Junction is very walkable with many restaurants and shops to explore. The hotel was welcoming, professional and helpful. There is on site parking.

Location The many Extra Charges on top of room charge Daily parking €14 plus tax of 5.27% total 14.74$ per night. We had 2 motorcycles yet were charged the same rate as a car despite only using 1 space. A Convention and Tourism Tax of 6%, City tax 3.39% and Occupancy sales tax of 5.27% making it a lot more expensive per night

Nothing, we canceled the reservation because of hidden fee's for parking and pets. They were going to charge me for the stay but after I contacted my credit card company I was reimbursed.
