WoodSpring Suites Grand Junction

Breakfast was good. Waffles, coffee, biscuits, gravy, sausage, potatoes were all; "good /very good"!...Except eggs...Eggs were a little lacking.. But most important coffee ingredient, coffee, was VERY good! Strong, but not TOO strong! Needed more seating! Saturday morning at 9:30 was PACKED! Maybe this is just an 'airshow' problem, but it was a problem...

Clean room with kitchenette, easy to book, secure. I didn’t care for the location surrounded by big box stores, car dealerships and bright lights. This is only a preference of mine being from the country, but the location was convenient to town.

The property is clean and well maintained

the beds were not cleaned. the sheets and pillows still had hair from previous people in it. eesh. had to get new pillows from the staff.

Bed was good, and it was clean. My mom was with me and she is over 70 years. She said you had too many old materials in the room. The TV was not USER friendly. I tried to turn it on, but could not. She commented about the bathroom. It looks like the materials in there are old and needed to be replaced with new ones. This is per mother. Compare to other hotels, you have password to your WIFI. This made it impossible to access. For instance we went to Sherenton Hotel at the Los Angeles International Airport. They do not have password to their WIFI. So, the guess account is what we used and it was very good experience. Please copy after this technique. Please leave the guess WiFi without password.

Had to check out in the middle of the night because of how bad it was

This is an extended stay with some rough characters hanging around. Police were present to mediate drama between various residents throughout the night, and could be heard knocking on doors in the hallway a couple of times to question residents involved in drama. When we arrived, they told us that Booking.com accidentally rented us a 2-bed room but it is a 1-bed handicap accessible room. I see they have pulled this trick with other reviewers. My friend and I were supposed to get a $10 discount (oh boy!) for sharing the bed, but we were charged full price for the room we didn't get in the end. The "kitchen" is just empty shelves. Unless you bring literally everything down to utensils, napkins, dishes, coffee pot, the kitchen will be useless to you. Bedding looked a little on the yellow side and we found numerous hair on pillows and in the bed. It wasnt clear anything had been washed since the last guests.

Convenient A huge pile of trash in parking lot. Bed didn’t feel stable. Bed coverings to thin I froze most the night even after I turned off the ac unit because it would stop cooling.

The price was the lowest in town. Fridge, stove and sink. It had been remodeled, but enough time has passed that wear shows. It was a place to sleep, shower and use the bathroom. No coffee pot. No microwave. No pots, pans, plates, utensils, dish towels, dishrags, dish soap. Bed sat on metal frame like a cot.

you need to clean the drug heads and all the junk outside up tha law told me that it is a bad place to stay because of the drug heads that live there

It was a hotel for the homeless. They need to take it off of the listing. We didn't even stay because of the way all the trash and broke down vehicles and trailers in the parking lot.

Staff was never present at Front desk. Lots of broken down cars in parking lot, no room service, pool and breakfast! People live here and whole hotel smelt like cigarettes!
