This was a horrible experience. We asked for a refund 3 hours into our stay and the staff refused, we ended up driving home and losing out on the $120. Before I checked in I asked if the pool was heated and the hot tub, I was told yes. We took our daughter to the pool room….pool was frigid and full of bugs, hot tub was cold and covered in dirt. The rooms looked like they hadn’t been used in like a year. Our sheets had stains and hair on the top and when I pulled back the blankets there was BLOOD in the sheets . I was appalled and told the front desk. Staff wasn’t surprised at all and told me they could not refund my money but could give me a clean, bigger and better room. When we checked the new room, it was 5 stories up, the same exact room we already had, covered in dust, hair and stains. Then we went back to our original room to pack our things and we were locked out of the room that held all of our personal belongings. Needless to say we left due to filth and poor management.

When I arrived I already reserved online , the person we met at front desk was Indi, aside from her, everyone else was pretty nice and professional. Indi however was very unprofessional, she doesn’t greet or listen , half the time she’s either ignoring me or answering before I even say anything. So when it was time to pay, the machine was showing a price much higher than what I reserved the room for, when I asked her why it’s different, she said that’s what is he responded fast . I showed her my online receipt she said that’s probably third party and what she’s showing is what it is, and then as I was trying to understand what’s going on, she tried to discard me so I can move so she can help the next person. I decided to stay and probe some more, she finally looked closer and told me there’s a $50 incident deposit that would be reimbursed when I check out, then the math made sense. But I had to be in an uncomfortable confrontational position before getting a reasonable answer just because she was other didn’t want to listen or talk to the client right in front of her. That was my first impression and I don’t think I’d come back there or recommend. Please ask all staff to at least be nice and professional enough to answer a simpler question if it’s not clear.

Only one elevator worked. Wouldn’t stay here again. Definitely need better cleaning and total remodel! Deposit charged was way more than website says. Pictures on website must’ve been from years ago.

Lobby was musty. Elevator, one of them, was not working. My room was blocked off somehow not available so they asked me to stay in another room. Staff was friendly.

Room was ok

There was a new staff member working, and they didn’t know answers to some of our questions about the property which is okay. The room was comfortable, but it could have been cleaned better. It was dusty and some surfaces were dirty. Other guests had left the pool area dirty. Only one set of elevators were working, so using them took a while during busier times.

Do not stay here! I took my daughter to Grand Rapids for a music festival. We booked this place for two nights. It was the only hotel in the downtown area for less than $300. That should have been my first clue. Knowing I booked the cheaper hotel I expected things to be a little older. That was an understatement. We were on the sixth floor. The elevators were sketchy but I really didn’t want to walk up six flights. Now I wish I would have. I got stuck in the elevator with my 12 year old daughter. Now she is terrified of elevators. I said something to the gentleman that was either the owner or the general manager. He said he was sorry but offered nothing else. The elevator was the biggest problem but there were many more. Don’t stay here!!!

Overall a nice hotel for a 1-2 day stay. A little dated.

Staff was very helpful but understaffed. Place seems old, but basically clean. Had 4 night stay, asked for a cleaning and due to a confusion it wasn't done until the 3rd day, so needed to call for towels. Breakfast was minimal but complimented, restaurant wasn't open yet, being renovated.

The hotel shows its age and is in serious need of some TLC. Long line at check-in. Mattress was lumpy & saggy. The window blinds fell off their track when we tried to close them. All in all a disappointing choice, and we'll surely stay somewhere else next time we're in Grand Rapids.

Nice staff and a big parking lot. Room could have been cleaned better. Shower needed some updates/fixes.

The hotel had a mildewy smell. We weren't informed until check in that the restaurant was closed. The hallways were dingy and dirty with peeling paint on all the doors. the whole hotels smells of weed and cigarettes. A dog barked all night, and the neighbors argued all night. And to top it off we found hypodermic needle hidden up under where the towels go and the front desk did nothing about it. We were supposed to get a refund back and never received that either. Never will we stay here again. We were here for the Move United Hartford National convention and this place was horrible. I was hoping to be able to recommend this hotel to others to stay at but that won't happen.

our room appeared quite clean, but our bathroom smelled like 100 urinals. also, vomit was left in the hallway for hours and hours, even after reported to front desk staff (a nice young man on his phone) and was told everyone who could clean it up was “sleeping”. property seemed run down, with no restaurant available. worked for a night, but would not book again.

This property is in dire need of a facelift. While the room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly, it felt like we stepped back into the 1980s. One elevator servicing the majority of the hotel (7 floors) was irritating and a source of long waits. The breakfast consisted of doughnuts, milk, yogurt and cold cereal. Apparently, the restaurant was being renovated. We agreed that we should’ve spent a little more money and stayed closer to downtown Grand Rapids in one of the nicer properties. I expected more from the Radisson brand.

Need to have water to get inside, we don’t have to out and get some ice and water for the coffee and drinking water. I’m so much disappointed about the breakfast water fo the coffee is cold, coffee is cold, no eggs or whatever, only muffins donuts mini yogurt,

We did not have a good experience here, our bathroom was not clean, things were broken in the room. And the restaurant was not open, and unfortunately there are no other options for food anywhere near this hotel.

When checking in, there was a mob of wedding goers checking in at that time. Many of them were rather rude. The woman behind the counter was fast, efficient and professional. She rocked it!!!

this hotel is in the process of being renovated. It is an absolute mess. The restaurant was closed. The breakfast was less than desirable. I didn’t find the staff to be completely honest I would not recommend this place.
