Embassy Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown,MI

Beautiful view. Our room was very nice. The staff is friendly. Parking is way to expensive. If I stay there for 3 nights and pay over $1,000 I should have free parking!!

I liked the view but it was noisy do to an event in the park. I was overall happy with my stay.

The waters falling

This was my second time here and unfortunately I was very disappointed. Our room balcony faced a cement wall with absolutely no view of anything. Although our room was clean, everything was covered in a layer of dust suggesting no one had stayed there in some time. Staff interactions were brief and curt, with the exception of the hostess at breakfast. She was wonderful! At checkout after I was asked how was everything, I replied “just ok, very disappointed.” The employee said ok and asked if I wanted my receipt emailed or printed. Nothing else. Undecided if we will return.

The location is right on the river. Easy walk to downtown area. The happy hour has a nice big outside patio to enjoy. the breakfast was excellent with very friendly staff. Parking is attached in a garage- suppose to pay extra for it but the gate was up so parking was free Nothing

Everything was great from the moment we arrived the whole staff was very, very friendly and attentive to all the guests.

Location was great! Everyone is always friendly and we get to take our dog!

New hotel

Exceptional

While I appreciate the balcony overlooking the river, greater attention to the cleanliness of the balcony should have been taken. My balcony had debris & butts on it as well as a significant amount of spider webs & creepy, crawling spiders. I was not able to enjoy the balcony (Rm 424) for that reason.

Always enjoy the Happy hour and breakfast at Embassy Suites. Our first time at this one and it was even better than expected. The fresh cook area was busy and everyone was cheerful and helpful. The buffet selections were kept hot and plentiful. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable for our liking.

10 min walk to Belknap Park

The Rooms were great Breakfast was good. Staff were delighful Our bathroom had some mold on the tile in the shower.

Very clean and beautiful hotel. All staff were friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I have is an outdoor pool. Toiletries were good quality also.
