Hyatt Place Grand Rapids Downtown

Great weekend stay! Will be back!

They declined our reservation. Even though it was booked for FIVE MONTHS. No call ahead of time or no email ahead of time to make us aware of any situation. They somehow overbooked their hotel. Idk how that happens when your amount of rooms dont change. Poor excuse. Poor customer service.

For a Hyatt, amenities were limited- 2 glasses, 2 coffee cups & 2:coffee pods & te bags for 3 days. Our “city view” room was a brick wall. It too 3 attempts to get our key card to work beyond an hour. Staff were very friendly & accommodating. Parking was $40/day but very convenient- attached to hotel.

Great accommodations and staff was friendly!

The entire place was clean and looked nice. It was the perfect place to stay.

Great place 👌

room was spacious and very clean

Had a great overnight stay and an ideal location for getting around the area. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast Buffett was great!

Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, appreciated the attached parking garage.

It was a good stay as expected for its price point.

There is no room service.

Housekeeping left my room door open, nothing was taken fortunately. They did not replenish toilet paper, had to request 3 times before I had to go to front desk and get myself.

Everything was amazing!

The staff here was absolutely amazing. Any questions was answered. The loaded nachos were awesome too. We will definitely be back.

The black out curtains didn't really work. The top of the window was open so a lot of day light came into the room. Travelers on different schedules need black out rooms.

Had a good time clean room for my birthday

Bathroom door was terrible, difficult to open and loud.

Complimentary water in room should be standard for a hotel at this price point. Windows on guest floors are dirty Guests at breakfast in bare feet

But when I first came there, I had problems getting in. I went in the wrong door and couldn't proceed untill I downloaded the app. When I registered on the app, it said someone was already using my email address. I had to be rescued by someone from the desk. Other than that, all was well.

The only weak point in the hotel was the shower head in our room. More water leaked from where the head screwed on to the pipe than out the shower head itself. Management alerted but corner room on a high floor was not worth giving up in an offer to switch to a new room.
