JW Marriott Hotel Grand Rapids

One of the highlights of our stay was watching the fireworks from the Jdek. It was such a fun experience, and the food they served was absolutely amazing. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The views of the river were beautiful and added to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Grand Rapids!

Excellent experience!!

The restaurant wasn’t a good experience at the end. Started out good but by the end it was rushed. our food came out later and the waitress of the next table thought it was her tables food!! Then my husband food didn’t have is condiments and it took another fifteen minutes or so to bring that back. It left a sore taste in our mouth for the restaurant experience itself. Hotel was great and staff!!

The staff is lovely!

Great landing spot in GR. 3 blocks from Van Andel. Lots of restaurants. Clean and safe feel. Right on River with great view. Breakfast was terrific.

All around perfect stay! The suite was comfortable and well appointed. The staff at the check-in counter were helpful and friendly. The valet parking staff were exceptional.

When we got back to our room after the concert we were looking forward to ordering room service for dessert! None were available 🙁

A little on the upper side of the price scale for a hotel in that area, but absolutely worth it compared to other hotels

I paid 600 dollars for a listed city view room. What I got was a low floor view of the parking garage in a tiny cramped room

Every detail was exceptional. I have stayed in many Marriot properties and this is the best by far. It is in the class of Four Seasons-Well done! The executive lounge food was lacking for grab and go- no fruit and sugary options- consider Greek yogurt instead of plain and nuts or other healthy options as opposed to snack mix.

Property as well position within the city. Very clean and friendly staff. Nice restaurant within the property. Entertainment in the lobby during the weekend evenings.

Sheets were a little strives. Plug in bathroom didn't work.

Great hotel but, for the price, the beds weren’t very comfy, the pillows were super flat and it was pretty loud. Staff were all great, especially in the bar. Beautiful view!

It was a lovely stay. Absolutely no complaints. Staff was friendly, property was clean and well maintained. Room was comfortable. It is very conveniently located.
