Hyatt Place Columbus/OSU

Overall my two day stay went well. I was disturbed twice by some rambunctious kids randomly knocking on my door like police and running away down the halls. I reported to Melissa and she had her supervisor immediately go look into and address the issue. There was only one elevator working so that made it inconvenient to go in and out. I probably would choose the other property just a few miles away. Thanks but no thanks on returning to this property.

Good for the value

Staff was great, great location. We loved and utilized the free shuttle.

Downtown is close enough to visit for dinner and drinks. There is a sports bar next door to the Hotel. It was more 20somethings then I like. Felt like I was in the middle of a kids park. Downtown was a better trip. The Hotel has a great comp breakfast to start your day and the staff is all the ball with most questions. I can't blame anyone for not being upto date on every convention that comes to town. I seen a lot of doordash to the lobby. I like this opportunity but with the free parking getting takeout yourself is super easy if you have a car. Grabbed a late coffee and snack in the lobby first night. Reasonable and covenant. There's a few spots to grab gas and coffee 7 mins away but it was pricey. Over all the Hotel is great and a better savings then downtown Hotels with only a 7 min car ride between.

Clean and safe place to stay. Peace of mind with car parked in safe area. Not much in walking distance. Served its purpose of needing a place to rest the tired head

GORGEOUS rooms and very attentive staff! Pet friendly; not the best location for quick fwy access and sleepy (but clean) neighborhood, but very comfy and welcoming.

The room was nice and modern and clean but they only had one elevator running when we arrived and it was running extremely slowly servicing 5 floors. It was very inconvenient as we had to wait 5-10 minutes every time we needed to use the elevator. On the 2nd day (day of checkout) BOTH elevators were out of service and we had to carry all our stuff down the stairs. When I went to inquire about how long it would be down they were very unhelpful and unsympathetic to the fact it was almost time for me to check out and that I had a lot of stuff to carry down from the 4th floor. They didn't offer to help or offer a late checkout or any sort of comp for our inconvenience. I probably wouldn't book here again because of this inconvenience and the staffs lack of empathy.

The buffet breakfast was good, better than a lot of other hotels. I’m sure we would have no problem staying there again when we are visiting our family as it is a nice property & located close to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go.

The location and parking are fantastic. Clean rooms with lots of room. A nice breakfast. It’s very close to OSU but feels like it’s out of the hustle and bustle.

Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Great parking spot. Not a big deal, but the bathroom door in room 416 scrapes on the floor.

Nice hotel

We have stayed here before and loved it. The location is great, nice rooms, great free breakfast and nice staff. But this time our bathroom sink was very slow draining and no matter what we did to the thermostat, the room was extremely humid. The bed sheets and the clothes in our suitcase were damp. The hallway was also hot and humid. Our tv remote didn’t work but someone was at our room within minutes to give us a new one.

Our room was clean, large and well designed. Lots of mirrors and counter space to share easily. Very comfortable bed.

Convenient parking and facility set up. Clean, large room (plenty of space). Room set up with the shower and toilet and the area to get ready next to the beds made it tight and difficult for more then one to two people

Friendly staff, very nice spacious room and surprisingly good breakfast. We will stay here until again. Also ample free parking.
