I liked the remoteness of the place and will stay there again.

Clean rooms, pool was very fun for the kids - great hours.

The staff was very nice. The room was outdated. Thermostat battery was out, phone wasn’t working. Microwave and safe inconvenient, they were on bottom shelf. Basically on the floor. Be ready to be woken up at sunrise. The curtains allow sunlight to come streaming in. Room could use updating. Bathroom needs ventilation. There’s no counter space or shelves in the bathroom. Cheap coffee maker. The pool room needs better ventilation. It was extremely hot in the pool room. Twice we had to go ask for towels. The towels were small thin and rough. The breakfast buffet was very basic. The cabinets in the breakfast buffet area need to be refinished or replaced. I didn’t want to touch the cabinets but you need to in order to get to the trash can. The cabinets were sticky and seemed dirty. The only positive was that the staff was very nice.

We enjoyed the water features and pool.

The ladies bathroom by the pool was disgusting. Very dirty and walls were literally falling apart.

The water park feature was the reason for our getaway. It was pretty good. The hotel itself is way outdated still from the 1900s. The water pressure in the shower was terrible as the handle wouldn’t engage all the way. There was a pizza box that stayed in the hallway all night and we even saw staff walking right by it. If it wasn’t for the waterpark feature and my boys, I would never stay there again.

Clean room and felt safe.

It was amazing! We had our 3 1/2 year old grandson and the waterpark was perfect for him!!

I liked the size of the rooms.

We stayed here honestly for the pool and it was okay. Jets in hot tub did not work, but otherwise good. Room was not 100% clean (clear they did not vacuum and fridge/microwave were visibly dirty). Drain in bathroom did not drain. Breakfast did not taste good so we didn't eat it after trying first day. Comforter on bed was ripped with stuffing coming out. Staff were helpful though.

We took our nephews there for a two day stay. The boys enjoyed the Waterpark and the pool. It was nice to have the pool available for the boys. They had brought pool toys with them and were able to share with kids they met and make new friends. The drawback to staying there was the restaurant closed too early and there were not many restaurants located in that area so we walked to Kwik Trip to get "dinner".

The property needs an update. All the furniture and walls in the rooms and hallways and lobby/ breakfast area are well worn and full of dings, scratches, worn spots. Pealing wallpaper, lighted mirror in our bathroom had a light burnt out. Beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and accommodating. The pool area was neat for the kids.

And if we were to speak up to the parent... well that often opens a can of worms.. I don't want to ...but WILL be involved in.

Cons: Our tub wouldn’t drain and we reported it on the first day; we stayed 3 nights but no one ever came to fix it. We asked for clean towels and a room refresh on the third day and were told that was no problem but it hadn’t been done when we got in that evening. Things were generally clean but we found popcorn, candy and trash around and behind the beds.

Great location and property! The staff were all excellent! Good value for the price! There are somethings that need repair.

Always good stay. And convenient.
