However: we have stayed at the property twice, and both times there have been at least one major issue that greatly diminished the experience. Neither time was there any offer to compensate for the inconvenience - poor customer service from the hotel management. The first time, they had some issue with the linens and so there were not enough towels to go around. The last visit, only one elevator in the main elevator bank was working. We had to resort to using the service elevator, but the delays getting up and down were painful. The only saving grace was we were only staying for one night. Finally, one item for Expedia to fix: the hotel now charges for parking. At the time of booking, the listing showed free parking, and was still this way as of the date we checked in. The hotel manager was able to give us a code so we didn't end up paying, but this option was not mentioned to me at check-in time.

Staff were very helpful.

They charge for self parking, $15 per night plus credit card service fee. It's mandatory because you need to pass the gate to enter the hotel, and there's no other area to park around it. They gave me a breakfast voucher when I complained, but they should have correct description in all the vendors websites. The elevator button didn't work, the sign said to use the service elevator but that was difficult to find, the staff was surprised to see us down there and a man yelled at us to get out of the kitchen area. The breakfast was definitely not worth the $20. The food items for sale were also overpriced, an awful white bread with a few roasted beef pieces sandwich, one slice yellow cheese and nothing else on it was $9. The room was clean. The staff felt overwhelmed. The rooms felt outdated.

Issue with the elevators. Only 1 of 3 working in the main lobby. Charge for parking… never did before. Floor hallway needs a clean up…. Fix walls and paint.

We were seeing a concert at Nationals Stadium but didn’t want to pay for or deal with downtown DC lodging, parking and traffic. This hotel is walkable (if you are young and are going to get intoxicated, neither of which were we) from a park and ride metro station. Parking at the hotel is free, but there’s a fee for parking at the station. It was maybe a 25 minute train ride to the show and back, then like a two minute drive back to the hotel. It was great. They had a decent looking breakfast but it was $20 a person. Luckily there are other eating options nearby.
