Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Greensboro Wendover

Exceptional

The hotel is well located and has easy access, well lit up parking and a nice lobby. Check in was ok and the room was also ok for the price....it went downhill from there. We were assigned a lower-level, accessible room (which we did not request, nor did we need). I would not mind except for the fact that the shower creates a messy and wet bathroom due to poor design for the water flow. The room had thin walls and ceiling which makes it prone to hear other rooms' noises if you know what I mean, so a word of caution if you travel with children. We fortunately did not have any overly loving couple nearby or on the upper floor, but we did have a full team of college or high school male athletes who were very noisy both nights we stayed there. The second night, there was an underwear inside the lobby right by the entrance (not family friendly, so no photo included!). Our room was not made, and we didn't know that it is the new Marriot's policy unless you ask for it. This was not disclosed before making the reservation, there is no incentive to the guest, and all there was, was a piece of laminated paper in the room that we did not see until it was too late. I interpret this as: " We will still make the same profit at the expense of the cleanliness and the value offered to you; we will reduce staff of course... but we will do it if you ask." Marriot! When did you lose your way?!!!

Checkin and out was fast and the room was very clean, and the breakfast was well done with a clean serving area and hot food as well as a selection of breads and muffins. This was a 10 on a 10 scale for location, service and cleanliness.

The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were terrible. The thermostat was very responsive to changes so we could keep the room comfortable. The breakfast was very underwhelming, go out to eat.

No issues with the room. Clean environment and ac works great. The elevator needs a major upgrade. Could be a safety concern.

Great breakfast, clean, friendly staff

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great with a good variety of options. The AC worked perfectly and kept the room comfortable throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

Great place. Super friendly staff. Cookies are on point and coffee was always hot.

The breakfast was fantastic. The kitchen staff did an amazing job. Thank you. I took my kids to the pool, but there was a sign that said it was closed so I spoke to the receptionist and it turned out. It wasn’t closed after all. It was fixed promptly.

Everything about the property was top notch. Site actually had a J1772 DC fast charger. Will keep tht in mind if I am in the area with my Tesla.

Location The tv in our room didn’t work which was frustrating. Staff was willing to take a look at it, but nothing could be done about it unfortunately.
