Embassy Suites by Hilton Greenville Downtown Riverplace

Absolutely stunning area. Enjoyed it immensely. Embassy Suites did not disappoint.

Staff was slow and one of the two had an attitude… (so much for being a Hilton Honors Member) View out my room (3rd floor) was a dumpy construction site. Never stay at this location again - Westin is by far a better, classic hotel worth the extra money!!! R

Once we figured it out, we walked up to the desk and there were 3 people in line waiting to check in and no employee in site. We waited for almost 5 minutes before a lady came up. She seemed like she didn't enjoy her job very much. We paid for a king room with a balcony overlooking the river She put us in a handicap accessible room overlooking the roads in downtown with just a slight view of the river. Not really what we thought we would get for the extra money. It was just one night so we let it go. The young lady at the bar for the manager's cocktail reception was very nice and helpful. The free breakfast the next morning was very good The room was clean and spacious and the hotel lobby area was nondescript and a little underwhelming.

The complimentary breakfast was amazing with plenty of delicious options, and the evening Happy Hour for guests was such a nice perk and a great way to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel itself was super clean, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Their excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Greenville!

Rooftop restaurant and bar were great. Very dog friendly and close to walking trails. Big spacious rooms.

Excellent location walkable to everything. Wonderful happy hour know Saturday evening and absolutely amazing complimentary breakfast. We appreciated the delightful service.

The location was convenient, and the breakfast was decent. One thing I appreciated was that fresh omelets were cooked to order at breakfast, which was a nice touch and probably the highlight of the stay. I honestly do not understand how this hotel justifies charging around $400 per night. The rooms were small and poorly designed, with dirty, sticky floors, unpleasant odors in both the room and the bathroom, a dirty shower, and stained or dirty towels. There was not even a simple washcloth available. For the price being charged, the overall cleanliness, comfort, and quality were far below expectations. I also find it difficult to understand how this property has a 4-star rating based on my experience.

We will stay there again soon!!!!

We had a wonderful over night stay for our 39th anniversary. The room was nice and spacious , clean and had a great view of downtown Greenville. Complimentary drinks and snacks the night of check in and a satisfying breakfast the morning of checkout. Will be back

Location and rooms were perfect!

I like the location near the river. The parking is not good. I pulled up for valet, but no one came out. I had to park far away and trying to figure out how to get into the lobby of the hotel is very confusing - no signs or directions at all. The floor tiles on the rooftop bar are uneven and coming loose, making it feel unsafe. The room was fine, but the sink head was loose. The service was terrible - staff was very dismissive and rude - including the lady at the front desk and the hostess at the restaurant. I had to flag someone down just to seat my 7 year old daughter and I.

Everything was really nice; although when I washed my hair the conditioner was empty.

Josh at Ruth’s Criss made up for the grumpy breakfast chef and treated us to an elevated experience complete with the southern hospitality and made us feel as though he we were his only dinner guests. Bravo Josh!!!
