Shawn, Paul, and Corey were amazing! They were super friendly and helpful. Corey even brought us cookies to our room and a fan when our air wouldn't cool.

Stay away from room 136. Ask for room 307. We stayed at Holiday Inn Express over the years at various locations. I've never rated them below 5 star before now. We checked in late due to two wrecks on I-10 across two states. We were exhausted. The room was warm and smelled a little funny. When we woke up earlier to make an appointment, the smell was still off but figured turning down the thermostat while away would put the room to normal. Upon our return, later in the day, the smell was worse and temperature warmer. My wife reported to front. Maintenance lady opened up the AC to find ice buildup. She indicated she could bring in a blower to point at the ice buildup to defrost it. If that didn't work, she would replace the AC unit. We asked for another room in lieu of putting ourselves through all that. Maintenance lady informed management. Management lady informed us that they were booked, no other rooms available. My wife asked then what are you going to do for us because we are not staying in this room. Management lady left and came back with room 307 card keys. We relocated to 307. A 100% environment change for the better! I couldn't find my flip flops, so I went back to room 136 to look for them. I still had the card keys but were not needed because the room's deadbolt kept the door open. I walked into the room to find a heavy fragrance in the air, bed made, and fresh towels and such displayed in their proper places. Like it never even happened.

Nice, very clean basic hotel within minutes from the beach. We really appreciated the hospitality and friendliness of all of the hotel staff that we encountered (front desk, kitchen staff, housekeeping etc.) Very accommodating… Decent complimentary breakfast…. good parking… easy access to restaurants, stores, and activities. If you need a place to stay in the Gulf Breeze/Pensacola area, I would definitely consider this one.

Great place to stay

We traveled with two minors for a quick stop on our way to Orlando, Florida and it was perfect. Got to enjoy the night life of Pensacola Florida. 8 minute drive to restaurants and the beach! Walked the beach & ate dinner on the beach. Definitely recommend!

We were only give 4 set for towels each time and I registered 5 people in the room

Coming down in the morning for breakfast was like being at a relatives visiting, thank you guys! Above and beyond 🙏❤️

Food was great stay was excellent

Nothing Are room had bed bugs and dirty pillows with blood on them. We had to change clothing and move rooms. The next room was dirty not vacuumed. Beds and pillows are uncomfortable. No bars of soap In room only bodywash. Must bring your own. This hotel was probably the worst we stayed at. We moved rooms and the next one was still dirty.

Room wasnt ready, staff was ok!

The rooms were clean and comfortable as always. We always stay at holiday inns because they have the best breakfast although this property the hot part of the breakfast was not great. Everything was like it had been reheated from the days before.
