Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Gulfport Airport

You can’t beat this place for the price. It’s older but has been renovated and the rooms are nice. No carpet on the floor but clean. I did have an issue with the ac and they moved me to another room. They are very friendly people. Great lighting and right next door to Applebees. Would definitely stay here again

What did it for me was Ms. Dot she was so friendly and courteous. She made me feel at home and I hope to see her again my next stay. I hope that everyone who works there is a nice and helpful as she is

Not the greatest place to stay. Seems like it was overrated in the reviews so maybe I will trust these reviews less moving forward

I am currently at your Econo Lodge on Highway 49 in Gulfport Mississippi and the whole experience has been miserable and that's putting it mildly! We checked in on Friday night and when we got in the room they must've had mopped sometime on Friday I'm guessing as the floor was still very well wet! Then the Air Conditioning wasn't working and they had 2 fans in the room! I told the Front Desk Clerk about this almost immediately after we got in the room and I also told her that I am a Severe Asthmatic and have COPD as well as a partial right lung! I told her it was miserably hot and very incredibly humid in this room 111! She then offered me an upstairs room even after I explained my health issues to her and the walking up those stairs with the outside heat would exacerbate my health issues even more! Here it is Sunday and the floor is still damp in spots and with the incredible humidity in the room the furniture, the outside of the Refrigerator door, and some of our very own personal belongings are wet now as well! I couldn't hardly sleep the first night we were here and didn't sleep at all tonight due to the heat and humidity in the room with breathing difficulties because of this! I've also nearly slipped and fell on the wet floor quite a few times especially in the bathroom where there's wet tiles! I had to put a couple of towels on the floor to prevent from falling in the bathroom! Then I saw a couple of roaches in here as well! I also took pictures of what I described!

Nothing the rooms were dated and Millie the bathroom in the waiting area was disgusting The rooms were dated as stated for the room we got the furniture was torn on the side and the smell was horrible. They offered another room and it was about the same we left and went to another hotel

Save your money, I wouldn't let a animal stay there. The first room was just ridiculous mold, dusty, sheets dirty cigarette burns on the blankets, the floor needed to swept and mopped. I have a video over 4 minutes long.The second room wasn't as bad a little cleaner than the first one. Honestly they need to be close down....

The staff is excellent. The room was amazing and comfortable The AC in room 126 was slow to cool the room but did keep us comfortable

Rouches all through the room . In the bed sheets and the bathroom was not clean what so ever

The AC was crappy they said they were coming to fix it but they never did and they charged a 100$ deposit and when we go to check out they only gave us 50$ back said the other 50$ was took for fees because of this app hotels.com but never mentioned it when we checked in and gave the deposit

The rooms were disgusting. Mold on ceiling & walls. Rooms stunk. I asked for a room change. It was no better. I asked for a refund & manager Dipti Patel. He refused my request. I lost $179 for two nights in a room I spent less than 5 minutes in. I went down the street & found better, clean accommodations at another hotel chain. That Econolodge should be condemned. It was that bad.

Room was still dirty found dead roaches through out the room

Room was dirty, cigarette burns in the bedding, tears and rips in the chair, the mirrors were cracked. Property had road construction going on in front of it making inconvenient to get into or out of.

There was a wet film over every surface like what ever they used to disinfect the surfaces never dried. All the surfaces was still wet when we left. Half of the light fixtures had the bulbs removed and when we asked for bulbs, we was told that housekeeping would bring them to the room. After an hour later, I went to the office and finally received 1 light bulb. We never did see anyone from house keeping. We had a hard time getting the door to latch. We had to almost slam the door to get it to latch. All of the screws holding the security latch was either missing or loose. We could hear every vehicle that passed our room and some from the other side of the building.

A staff lied and charged me twice as much as the quoted rate from my booking and the free upgrade that I received an email about for Jacuzzi tub in my room I was charged an extra $80 for and I still have not received my security deposit back of $200

Staff was great, place was a perfect stop between my destination. If you are on a budget and just need a one night stay, this place is fair. If you are going with the wife and kids, spend a little more money for a better hotel. The beds were okay, the room was okay but we didn't have many amenities and toilet paper 😯, the staff was great and gave us more tp. Nasty shower curtains is why i scored this place low.
