Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Gulfport

The breakfast are was nasty and unkept. Attendant was very unfriendly and acted like we were bothering her.

I expected a little more for a Marriott owned hotel. This place smelled pretty bad. The first room I was given smelled heavy of cigarette smoke. The staff took care of it immediately, which I appreciated. I had no issue with staff. The next room I took the elevator and it smelled of urine as well as the hallway. This location could use some care. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Our Door to our Room Stuck on the Jam when you opened and closed it. Will never stay here again. Breakfast was horrible. Seemed like Staff did not care and did not offer any help to correct problems.

Good parts of the stay include her, the rest of the staff, the bed, and breakfast. Not so good parts started with trying to find the road it is on (unmarked) off of a busy, divided road. Then there were the dresser drawers in the room requiring a folded piece of paper to stay closed, mold in the shower, broken chair in the breakfast area, and a general feeling of a Marriott property in need of some serious maintenance. It deserves to be better with the great staff it has supporting it, and it can be.

Room smelled like smoke and was not clean

The staff was very nice and helpful!!! one of the rooms had a leak in the bathroom ceiling and there was water all on the floor in a bad odor like mildew!!!! the other room floor was wet by the air condition had a very bad odor
