Springhill Suites by Marriott Hampton Coliseum

Great front end staff. Very welcoming . Clean building Pool was out of service.

The staff was SUPER friendly and welcoming. They were accommodating and tried to resolve issues/questions The property is run down and not what I expect from a Marriott/Springhill Suites brand. Old and out dated furniture. A missing porcelain patch on the tub. Chipped sink. Sinking and cheap mattress. And the cherry on top is a door that doesn’t fit the frame…so there’s a big gap between the door and framing.

Front desk staff and breakfast were good. Room appeared to be clean but many defects in our room. The bathroom sink was cracked, the sofa was badly stained and slightly ripped in a few places, the window was almost completely stained from salt or calcium build-up (not just condensation), the desk chair was broken, the closet door was off the track that it slides on, and there were obvious signs of wear everywhere. Can't believe this is a Marriott accommodation. Just as we were leaving, I passed a housekeeping manager in the hall and asked him to come in and see the room. He actually had a pad of paper and a pen in his hand. He wrote nothing down and just smiled at me after he saw all the defects as if to imply it was all perfectly acceptable. I almost never write reviews but, this experience was unacceptable.

Clean hotel. Excellent staff (quick to respond). Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom shower needs to be remodeled. Great stay.

Cleanliness could be improved, against Marriott standards

Bathroom crapper was cracked and leaked water. Tub was rusted and looked dirty because of rust.

Nice and quite

There were cockroaches coming out of the tub faucet in the morning. We reported it to the front desk, and they did not seem shocked. We were promised a refund for our stay, but they never came through on their promise after several attempts to contact the hotel and Expedia.

Customer service was excellent, the staff was very friendly

The pool was under construction with no time frame of opening back up 😫. We had 7 kids we had to find something else to do

Love the soft bed. Great breakfast! Nice and Clean! Shower head was linking in the bathroom. Entrance door was a little hard to open. Overall the stay was good !
