Springhill Suites by Marriott Hampton Coliseum

Great experience from check in to check out.

The room was not great, it just felt dirty. The curtains wouldn't close all the way, so the sun would peek through in the morning. The towels looked dirty, the couch looked dirty, the AC unit didn't cool the entire room. Matter of fact, it didn't really cool the room at all. It was near 100 degrees during my stay. So I slept on top of the bed. O'yeah, the carpet looked dirty and the walls in the room had parch work done to the wall, and there was no door on the closet. That's all I have for now... except, I will never stay at this location again!

The staff are rude and the front desk morning staff especially. I wouldn't recommend at all the property isn't aesthetically maintained for Marriott brand.

Pool was closed for maintenance for our 3 day stay. I expect pools to be usable

My family was displeased with the breakfast options. They are limited and lack variety. There are no vegan/plant based options for milk, yogurt or coffee creamer. When some items ran out, they weren't refilled or replaced, just removed. Coffee is only available during breakfast hours. It is conveniently located for events, shopping, going to the beach or just stopping off the highway for the night.

Check in was very fast and efficient, staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole place, rooms were clean will come back and stay.

All staff were polite and offered service.

Staff was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. It was only a few minutes away from the Coliseum and the food spots

The hotel has many places that need maintenance. The bathroom wall is significant broken. The bed sheet appears not fresh. The sofa bed was supposed to sleep two people but the upper layer smells bad. The reception is friendly and helpful though. He changed us to another room, but the sofa bed was broken.

The staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly, always had a smile and engaging with us. They were the highlight of our stay. It would have been nice to have been able to swim but it didn’t take away from our pleasant experience.

The hotel was really nice, the room was very spacious and clean. The ONLY thing my wife and I didn't like was the location of the toilet paper. If you're over 6 feet maybe you can reach it easily but I'm 5'6" and we removed the roll and placed it on the back of the toilet.

This hotel needs serious renovations. The smell as soon as I entered the lobby was not pleasant. The mattress was uncomfortable and the worst of all was the shower. The walls inside the shower were heavily peeling along with a giant crack in the wall.

Unfortunately we were met by roaches in bathroom basin & shower.
