its a solid 3 star hotel. Just what you would expect for around $300 a night. Excellent location, acceptable but not a lot of effort with buffet breakfast. Staff are lovely

The staff was friendly when we arrived for valet parking and check-in. Lobby was bright, clean and very comfortable and we love it immediately. The complementary water and snack station was very thoughtful, and of course the room was l well kept. Location was great - near all the shops and restaurants, as well as the campus. Our family of four thoroughly enjoy our stay at Six South Street and would highly recommend it to anyone that comes to Hanover/Dartmouth!

Everything was great, ,the front desk very nice but we like to see more options in the restaurant's menu
-
Very convenient location for visiting the college and pleasing decor -- looked flawless, but surprisingly subpar quality of mattress and breakfast.

I travel a lot and this hotel is definitely a great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds. I just wish the restaurant was open while we were there.
-
Incredibly relaxing and wonderful hotel! Everything is thoughtfully laid out - robes, slippers, bags of ice, a fridge full of cold waters, ear plugs, etc. Was very hard to leave!
-
Nothing bad to say about this hotel!

It would be nice to have continental breakfast delivered to your room

The location is terrific and the room was very nice. A few things should be improved upon, especially at the rates they are charging: pillows went flat; only a face wipe is provided (bring your own face soap if preferred); there's only one elevator for the entire property so be prepared to wait at peak times; and the valet was super backed up in the evening (the public parking garage next door was a welcome blessing and safe and cheaper fyi). But depending on the rate, I'd bring my own pillows and stay again for convenience over the nearby Marriotts/Hilton.

Beautiful property, rooms with thoughtful details, wonderful staff and location. Would stay here again and again.

Fabulous. Convenient, comfortable, clean, attractive, bathrobes and even a steamer!

Everything was really good!

Needed something close to Dartmouth and this was perfect! Beautiful rooms and amenities, kind staff, great location. I would definitely stay here again!

My mom stays here when in town and it’s comfy and walking distance to downtown everything.

The stay was fine. Nice room and details. Terrible wifi, which made working and taking calls difficult. The continental breakfast was bare minimum, especially for the price of the hotel. Good location if you need to be on Dartmouth campus, which you're really paying the premium for. Such is the Upper Valley!
-
Immaculate rooms, very well appointed and designed. Floor two is pet friendly and the main area was stocked with complimentary water bottles, cookies, dog treats and even ear plugs and sleeping masks. Excellent location in town close walk to Dartmouth college.

Truly enjoyed this property. Great amenities, location and staff. Walking distance to everything. Loved it and have already booked my return!

Third year staying here. Staff is warm and friendly. They are always asking about your day, if they can help. Valet parking is easy-to-use: in,out or just need to get something out of your car. Continental breakfast is new. Everything fresh. Coffee freshly ground and hot. Rooms are clean and hotel is quiet.

The quality of the bagels offered for breakfast could be improved.

I stayed three nights. The housekeeping left much to be desired. The first day they did not replace the shower mat, nor remove/replace used glassware. The did not restock the water bottle (supplied for the coffee maker) nor the coffee/creamer. On my second morning I returned to find only some of the cleaning completed again. The used towels were removed but they only replaced some of them (no hand towels this time). The coffee/creamer were not refilled, again, but this time I did have a fresh bottle of water for the coffee maker (?). Dirty glassware was removed this time but only some of it replaced. They DID NOT even make the bed the second day!! Both days the front desk staff brought up the missing items, however I did not have them make the bed. I tend to go out of my way, as a hotel guest, to keep my personal items picked up for the very purpose of making cleaning/straightening of the room as simple as possible. They did offer a continental breakfast, however, it was very minimal. The bar and restaurant were closed my first two nights there (Sunday & Monday).
