Kimpton Overland Hotel - Atlanta Airport by IHG

I love the rooftop experience and music. I love the view of the Porsche experience watching the cars on the track and the museum. The staff was truly professional and friendly. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Arrived on a flight from Zurich and checked in at approximately 1700. Only one person at reception so it was a little slow. We were given a room on the second floor and I asked if one was available on a higher floor. I was advised the hotel was full. It was not. There were four people at the complimentary wine hour and virtually nobody in the bar or restaurant at 1830. The room we were assigned was just above the air conditioning condensers and trash container. The parking lot which we could see was only filled to about 30 percent of capacity. My point in describing the experience is that the desk was not being truthful and simply did not want to take the time to accommodate my request. Not likely to consider a Kimpton property again. They used to be colorfully decorated in a unique way. They now are just like any Crown Plaza IHG owns.

Took an hour to check in. Very poor service. No one came to assist the person who was overwhelmed. Very poor first impression for this property.

Great all around

I really enjoy staying at the Kimpton Hotel Atlanta Airport. However; on Saturday June 27th, I felt like a victim of very, very bad service at this hotel. I discovered when I woke up that my sheets had multiple blood stains on my bed. The night before, when I checked into the room, I didnt inspect the bed because the beds are normally clean and comfortable. On the 27th of June I was WRONG. When I woke up Sunday June 28th I noticed that my bed was not cleaned at all. I woke up lying on a multiple blood stains on my mattress sheets. I immediately complained to management and they assured me that this was an awful incident. I took multiple photos of this horror. I feel violated. Also the DJ on the 8th floor patio area received multiple complaints from the guess. DJ was playing a series of ratchet songs. I was observing, black, white, older guess leaving the patio in discuss about the DJ ratchet songs. Clearly not catering to the muture crowd standing in front of him.. This experience has given Kimpton Hotel a black eye. The cleaning crew management team should be shamed. I have tge photos.

Everything was great

Beautiful quiet room overlooking Porsche Experience track. Comfortable bed, Nice TV, Nespesso coffee , Fridge and Microwave. Great location. Above average for airport hotel. Restaurant had great food. Self parking $30, would be reasonable for valet.

The only thing to make sure you know is that the parking is not included and there is no alternative. There is not much around in terms of grocery stores and only a few restaurants off the property, but being in a quiet area has its perks.

Clean room, very helpful staff, good location

The hotel was nice, clean and quiet. The staff was helpful with getting our luggage to our rooms and scheduling a shuttle to the airport. I have ZERO complaints!

This place is absolutely amazing. Very clean and the staff is very nice. 12 out of 10

We asked for a view of the runway. We got a parking lot full of air conditioners. I could never find an ice machine. We would not stay there again

N/A Arrived at Midnite on Thurs....on duty night auditor & an assistant were very nice & yet very clueless. I'm a longtime hotel/restaurant owner/"....in fairness, the 40-50 ppl waiting to be checked in, like me, were all at your hotel due to Hartsfield Airport closing post evening thunderstorm... as I type my response I have not a clue what the glitch was, technical or otherwise, that prevented & caused a 2- 2 1/2 hour wait at front desk before front desk could check us in intervals every 20 minutes after each arriving room guest waited minimum of 2 hours....by the way, we stayed in room 702, which was very nice...

This is an excellent hotel choice if you’re staying the midtown area. It’s easy accessible to get around. Hotel shuttle was a plus. Staff was amazing. The Apron is the restaurant in the hotel food and drinks were exceptional. I’d rate my entire experience 9/10 and will be staying again when I return.

BUT the staff were absolutely wonderful! The rooftop bar was a massive highlight—it has amazing views of the Hartsfield-Jackson landing strip, great food and drinks, and a DJ playing. Breakfast at The Apron was also delicious. Overall, a fun vibe and great service, but the building itself really needs some upkeep.

Very noisy

They last the rooftop bar; however, we went up to it and it was not opened. We stayed for quite some time waiting and it never opened.
