Clean room, property was clean, staff friendly & helpful, basic breakfast

Unclean room, the lady at the desk legitimately told me "I should not expect a clean room as they don't deep clean every time" . The room was nasty rotting something behind the bed, no sweeping behind the furniture. Green something on the walls, some drops on the ice bucket, and just dirst and stains EVERYWHERE. Im glad I didn't bring a black light because I already seen spots on the sheets. The lady who cleaned my room was fired the day after we started I stayed do to the quality of work. Confirmed to me by 2 staff members, could not talk to the manager as he was not there and not available by phone. The rooms were quiet, and the water was HOT. This was not worth the amount we spent on the stay. The hotel has alot of potential but with the current level of care this place is bad.

The room wasn’t the cleanest. There was foil left on the floor. As I looked further they were condom wrappers. The continental breakfast was a joke. I did not feel safe. There were shady people walking around. I blocked my door to sleep. I try to do laundry there and the dispenser was broken so I couldn’t get quarters and the front desk had none also. I left one day early and went to another hotel. I lost money but I’m glad I did it.

Breakfast consisted of a waffle maker, a toaster with some white bread, a dry cereal dispenser, butter packets, a pitcher of what tasted like powdered milk, blueberry and chocolate mini muffins. A juice machine and coffee without taste. The room was very dark. The toilet paper, towels, and sheets were the absolute cheapest and thinnest I have ever used. I would not stay here again. I didn't expect much from the super 8 brand, but thought maybe carrying the Wyndham name might have improved the standards a little.

Cleaness Every thing was nice
-
Breakfast wasn’t even good waffle batter tasted sour
-
When I visit my daughter, this is my choice hotel. It's clean, friendly staff, and easy to manage arrangements.
-
Asked for new clean sheets and all they did was make up the bed with the same sheets asked for more towels only got 2. The mix for the waffles tasted sour the muffins were dry

I typically don’t stay at Super 8 hotels because most that I’ve seen are somewhat run down; however, after reading the reviews for this one I decided to give it a try. The reviews were on point. The rooms are very clean and updated, and beds are comfortable. The only “complaint “ I have is the breakfast. It’s just your typical continental breakfast and I had hoped for a warm breakfast but that’s okay. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s very convenient to the interstate and has lots of food options nearby. If you are reluctant to stay at a Super 8, give this one a try!

All good

I have stayed here a couple times and it's my go to because the price is very fair! The property is clean, safe and great location. Plenty of food in the area and shopping such as Walmart HEB coffee shops, Ulta, and a park down the street.
-
My second stay and my go to when I visit. I give this place a five star, clean, friendly lots of stores and places to eat drink plus it’s safe! The breakfast is small and simple.

All very good

For the most part, we enjoyed our stay and the location. It would have been nice to have different breakfast meals, instead of waffles and limited snacks every day. Also, the bed was made but the sheets weren't washed for a stay that was 6 nights.
