Amazing breakfast with all the options, fantastic friendly staff, super clean place everywhere. The beds were a little hard but it’s not that bad.

For a family reunion purposes the facilities and location was great. We really enjoyed the large general area where we played games and visited.

Everything was very nice and clean

Very nice. The room was excellent and the staff was great! Will definitely stay here on my next visit.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and house keeping would ask daily if anything was needed. Breakfast was also very good. The dinning room was clean. The breakfast always had plenty of food and Vicky who attended the area made sure of it. The staff was very helpfully and attentive to guest needs. Enjoyed my stay and would use this location again.

Breakfast

First time in Harker Heights and I had a wonderful day at the Hampton very friendly staff great breakfast and the rooms in the beds are top-notch very quiet hotel

The property itself deserves recognition—it was clean, well-maintained, and presented a professional appearance throughout our stay. Areas of Concern Breakfast Service - The breakfast offerings were delicious and appreciated - However: Breakfast potatoes were overcooked on two consecutive days Staff Interactions Two team members fell short of hospitality standards: 1. Breakfast Area Staff — The lady maintaining the breakfast area was unwelcoming. She gave our family an unpleasant stare while we were eating and conversing, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. 2. Front Desk (Day Shift) — A female daytime front desk staff member was neither friendly nor welcoming during interactions. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name. I know she worked the desk from morning until evening and she wore long straight hair. Key Message In the hospitality industry, customer care and genuine hospitality are not optional—they're foundational. When guests don't feel welcomed and valued, it directly impacts the business's reputation and guest loyalty. Recommendation We respectfully urge management to: - Address these service standards with the staff members involved - Reinforce hospitality training and expectations - Ensure consistent, warm guest interactions across all shifts Thank you for considering this feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to share our experience.

clean room, friendly staff, great food

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was great, but there were two things that really bothered me while I stayed there. For one, the front desk lady allowed a homeless man that was telling my husband that he had just gotten out of jail, to come inside and helped himself to the breakfast area and coffee. That made me feel very uncomfortable and secondly a Caucasian lady did not seem very friendly. I spoke to her in two different days and each time she would answer me, but did not even bother to look at me. I just thought that was really weird and not friendly at all

Loved the room, it was very clean and spacious. The only thing we didn’t like was no lock on the bathroom door and the neighbors tv was very loud until late. But other than that, we really enjoyed the stay.

The room had a strong funky smell. Maybe because it’s new and it was a paint smell. Maybe the last people to stay there had strong BO. Anyway everyone was great the place was clean. It was a good stay except for the strong Oder in the room.
