Great stay, dropping daughter off at JMU

The gentleman that checked me in was rude. The company I work for has us book our rooms through the Engine app and they are paid for through a centrally billed account. When we do that, the incidentals are covered and we should not have to present a credit card at check in. I travel weekly, stayed in this exact hotel the week before, and I never have a problem. He demanded I present a credit card for the incidentals, and didn't care, no matter what I told him, that it wasn't required, and was not nice at all during the process. Everyone else that works in this hotel was absolutely friendly and wonderful, but that one guy was an ass.

Breakfast and staff were great. Had a misty smell to our room. Had been to the hotel 12 years before and it has not been updated.
-
The hotel still needs some updates, but it was good for our halfway stop.
-
Location Price Physical condition of the property, only one working elevator, all furniture and floors and bathroom in poor shape. Hallways and breakfast area not in great shape either.
-
Close to the interstate
-
Included breakfast is very nice although the breakfast area wasn’t the cleanest but was not bad considering.
-
Only one problem-the room/air conditioner had a musky smell
-
Stay was amazing!
-
Close to university Only one elevator and slow.

Staff was great, breakfast was good, room 412 was not so nice, front desk quickly moved us to another room which was much better.
-
Our stays at Hampton Inn are seamless. This was no exception.
-
Location Sorely needs update. Shabby. No clock, no lamp on the desk, refrigerator door broken.
-
Clean, good breakfast!
-
The air in the room smelled moldy and the filters of the AC unit were long due for replacement.
-
The breakfast, the eggs were too salty. The potatoes were soft and mushy. I had cereal and whole milk and orange juice. After trying the eggs. The rooms are small. The paint is peeling and it has the feeling of being an old building.
-
BONVOY TV system...very limited viewing...especially sports
-
One elevator was broken and the other one I got stuck in for over 30 minutes. If I had not had my phone with me, I don’t know if I would’ve ever gotten out of the elevator all night. They did not give me proper compensation either, and the general manager was rude.

When I first arrived I was given a room that was already occupied. I found it difficult to connect to the internet
