Hyatt Place Harrisonburg

Unfortunately, my stay on July 6th was not good. My room was one floor below their restaurant and the noise from their equipment (exhaust fan, etc) was unbearable until 10:30 pm. Then, I had a roach in my bathroom. I have stayed here several times and never had an issue. July 6, was a disappointment. The front desk responded to my issues with "I'm sorry". Unacceptable.

Check in with Expedia did not go well, they asked for reservation number, my name, a receipt. They stated that could not locate my information, that maybe I booked the wrong place, wrong time, eventually they found me. Not impressed by the front desk staff, other than that beautiful facilities, beautiful space, I would stay there again.

Everything was perfect

Hotel and the staff were nice! But the housekeeping was poor. They were running out of towels, and the room were not cleaned and towels and other amenities were not changed/refilled for multi day stay. Housekeeping needs to be managed well.

The AC Unit made a loud noise every time it turned on and off. Besides that he room was great very clean and had everything we needed.

The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the service needs improvement. We ate at the rooftop restaurant, and they told us there wasn't a kids' menu. Later we found out the restaurant on the first floor did have kid-friendly options, but no one mentioned that to us. There also seemed to be a shortage of towels. We requested extra towels for our room and were told they had run out. The pool was also out of towels, which was disappointing. Breakfast was decent, but the service wasn't very organized. They frequently ran out of drinking glasses and coffee cups, and it took a long time for the staff to refill the food. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential. If they improve the service, keep basic supplies stocked, and communicate better with guests, it would be a wonderful place to stay.

For a weary traveller, this was not a good experience.

The sink and the bathtub do not drain well. People should not have to pay these high prices for this kind of facilities.

Great layout, fabulous pillows-no visible filtered drinking water in evening & acted like I was crazy when I asked for included water bottles or if they were in room.

Amazing all around. Kids loved it…adults too.

Stopped in for an over night stay. The property looks brand new. We were traveling with our two children which loved the in-door pool. Staff were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend.

This hotel never disappoints. We always have a great experience when we stay here! Thank you to wonderful staff for another great stay!

The bar on the top is the best value. View, drinks, and small plates worthy of dinner.
