Too much money for breakfast. Most places I have stayed included breakfast.

Had I known I was going to be on 3rd floor after requesting a 1st floor, I checked in early, room was available and was on 3rd floor. Construction was going on, loud and by the ice machine. Didn’t know it would be that bad, or would have checked between 3-4 to get a first floor. Wish I had know the construction was going on.

Everything was clean the staff was right there when I needed them.

Bad

It definitely had potential to be a great stay. Everything went great until it didn't. My 1st room a/c was leaking so I was moved to another room. The a/c compressor had to be going out cause it was so loud I barely got any sleep and wanted to get on the road before day that morning and drive back home. But the staff was very nice. And another thing besides me feeling like it was a little over priced they should have been discounting rooms until the renovations were completed.

Superb

The room was nice and big, the bed was comfortable. There was no tv remote in the room, upon notifying staff they did bring one to the room promptly.

Our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hattiesburg was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. We had two rooms reserved, The hotel’s stated check-in time was 3:00 PM, but our rooms were not ready until approximately 4:47 PM. I understand that hotels can get busy, and I was told a football team had checked out late. However, that should not become the guest’s problem, especially when traveling with children and paying for a hotel room with an advertised check-in time Unfortunately, the problems did not stop there. The condition of the rooms when we finally received them was also unacceptable. After traveling and waiting well past the promised check-in time, we expected clean and properly prepared rooms, but that was not our experience. This was supposed to be a comfortable family stay, but instead it became a frustrating and disappointing experience. I contacted the hotel and requested a full refund for both rooms because the service and condition of the accommodations did not meet reasonable expectations. I am also disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. I believe Expedia and the hotel should take responsibility for the experience and provide an appropriate resolution. I would strongly recommend that anyone booking through Expedia carefully consider recent reviews before choosing this property. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again.

It was a really nice room for the price.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay again

Shower controls are too complicated.

Nice room and quiet surroundings Remodeling effort in outside hallway was very uninviting. Ice machine was not working. My biggest complaint was having to pay $75 for my small dog. We stayed only one night and the dog increased the cost of our stay by 50%. Excessive!

Ants in the room, shoe prints in the shower, panels missing on bottom border, paint marks everywhere, room doors hard to open and close then the system was messing up so my card kept getting declined which was so embarrassing!

It was easy to find and it was very clean.

Great stay! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms and amenities were nice.

The Hotel was beautiful, its under renovation.
