This place really exceeded my expectations. In the photos it looked a little dated, which I don't mind but I was really surprised by how nice it was. It was very clean and the room was in very good shape. The entire property is maintained really well. I don't know if it's really a complaint, but next time I would not book a room facing the lake. It costs a little bit extra but I honestly didn't feel like it was worth it. Someone else might enjoy it though.

The owners went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. The rooms were renovated and clean. Our lake view room was wonderful. The owners shared with us their favorite fishing spots. He even allowed our family to use some of their canoes and kayaks. This allowed us to have some amazing fishing catches. We will stay here again.

Uniwue and nice place. Rooms are a cut above the normal motel - nice, uniquely decorated. Owner was super nice. Lobby area is a small guitar shop as well - I bought one! Recommended.

Why should I need to pay that your quoted price when I check in? What kind of rip off are you running? Granted the difference was only 5 dollars, but could just as easily been more.

An excellent choice for our overnight trip to Hayward, WI. Very clean, comfortable, cozy with Northwoods decor, up-to-date room, and amenities. Highly recommended to travelers.

Location Had booked a king room but then was shown a 2 queen bedroom, which was actually just renovated. I thought we would get it for the same price, but then was upcharged $30 for it. I didn't think that was fair
