Courtyard by Marriott Dulles Airport Herndon/Reston

The location was superb for where I needed to go I didnt love how both the gym and the laundry was so far away. The layout of the hotel is like an H shape. Separate lifts/ separate wings. And all the amenities were in the opposite wing to me. Plus I did not love the parking situation of the hotel. If there wasn't parking on your wing you must park on the other wing, get a little lost first, then find your wing and lift. You can't just take the lift there and get off and find your room. Which in the grandscheme of things is annoying but wasn't ideal for what I was in town for and frustrated me on more than 1 occasion.

The night staff polite, helpful, humane.

The fire circle outside and the bed was comfy The shower door keeps sliding open when you take a shower it’s annoying to keep closing it while you do you’re business and the balcony door did not open

The elevator was out of service but the staff offered to carry down our heavy luggages on the checked out day ,

This hotel was extremely quiet… the location was very convenient and felt safe. It was clean inside and out

The restaurant was very convenient after a long day! The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Location. Staff. Room 148 had no hot water or water pressure on the first morning. On that afternoon, the water took 15 minutes to warm up but then it was only lukewarm and there was no water pressure. When I arrived, the door to the courtyard was unlocked. There was a dead bug on top of the bed spread. The room’s alarm clock had been set for 6 am, unbeknownst to me until 6 am the next morning. My room was never serviced. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the last 6 years. Worst experience ever.

Exceptional

The staff was very nice and the balcony was a nice added touch. However, they didn’t even offer free coffee in the lobby. You could hear the springs in the bed and the couch. Nice shower.

The doors to the handicap room we had and locking access door to parking did not have any way to keep them open. Getting a person in a wheelchair through the doors was very difficult...so much so that we did not stay our last night. Also, sidewalk is poorly maintained and bumping from crack to crack threatened to toss person from wheelchair. Definitely will not stay here again.

The overall experience was not great. I reserved 3 rooms well in advance but when I checked in they told me that they were out of one of the types of rooms that I booked and that one of the rooms had already been checked in (which I had not done). I had asked ahead about the airport shuttle frequency but they only told me after I checked in that the earliest shuttle is 7am, so we had to take 2 Ubers to get to the airport. I would not stay here again as an option near the airport.

El staff fue muy diligente y amable. No se si era el gerente pero un caballero de mas o menos 60 a 65 años me trató con el mejor profesionalismo qué se puede recibir de un asociado. El local, el cuarto el lobby y areas del hotel estan muy bien presentadas. Para mi, 6 de 5 estrellas Mu esposa dijo que volvería y eso es mucho decir.
