Staff is very welcoming and helpful.

One thing to note about the room, there are no drawers to use for your clothing or other items. A very small hanging area with a few shelves was it. It worked for us but just a surprise. Beds were extremely comfortable. The huge soaking tub and walking shower were very luxurious. (They even sell bath bombs in the gift shop!!) We would definitely stay at CedarTree in Hillsboro OR again.

The hotel was so clean and new, we loved it. The room and bathrrom were spacious and very comfortable. It had plenty of storage area, comfortable bed, and some extras in the room/bathroom. We needed an ADA room and there were plenty of safety bars and the shower was perfect. The floors are too thin we heard everything above us. In the morning and at night it was so loud, it sounded like gymnasts were doing exercises across the floor. Also not enough parking when we got home late at night.

We were especially impressed by the kind staff members, both at night when we arrived and the next morning. They really seemed to go out of their way to help us get set up after a long travel day.

Best hotel! Fabulous sleep, quiet and great mattress. Hotel design is brilliant - love the Japanese influence. Took advantage of the women's bath, very relaxing.

Room was great good amenities disappointed that I was there while the two restaurants on site were closed. They looked really good. Will definitely stay here again.

Our 2 night stay was awesome. We enjoyed the free parking, the staff is super helpful, the room is extremely comfortable. We had dinner the first evening in The Waterfall restaurant and we both decided we'd come back to eat even if we weren't staying the night. The hotel is lovely, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very clean and quiet property outside of Portland for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Front desk staff were so kind, helpful and quick to respond to any question or request. They were consistently courteous and welcoming. The restaurant wait staff was helpful, patient and friendly. The housekeeping staff were also friendly, helpful and courteous. You have an excellent team. Every room in the public and private spaces was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable. It was easy to make requests through the tablet in the room. The deep bathtub in the room, the rainfall shower head and the handheld shower head were all great. There is unsweetened ice tea in the gift shop refrigerator which I appreciate. I also enjoyed the koi pond, the Japanese garden and the entryway. The onsen was not accessible. It needs 2 handrails of standard height on each side of the stair steps leading into the onsen - at a minimum. The steps had a single railing which was exceedingly low, perhaps knee height at best. This would be a fairly easy and inexpensive adaptation which would make the onsen more accessible for more guests. Secondly, unfortunately, the food in the restaurant was mediocre. The wait staff was delightful but the food was overcooked or bland or unappetizing. Members of our party ate in the restaurant a total of 4 times out of convenience and the food was consistently disappointing. I am sorry to say that. I don’t like to leave negative reviews. Finally, the mini-fridge in the room was too small to hold much of anything. It also either froze our items or didn’t keep them cold. I think you could benefit from a minifridge upgrade. We also missed having a microwave in the room.

The cultural authenticity of this hotel is the real deal. Between the room layout (the bathroom shower and soaking tub in our room were AMAZING!!!) and the men's and women's onsen on-site makes this a place I hope to come back to in the future. The actual Japanese bidet in the room was a nice addition, especially with the instructions next to it. I am so glad we found this hotel, the rooms were very clean and the bed was super comfortable - along with good pillows. All of the staff we dealt with were professional and on the ball. This hotel is a 10/10 experience.

We enjoyed the comfortable bed and clean sleek room. The bathroom has an amazing shower / bath combo wet room style and a bidet. We also loved the Japanese Onsen and had a great stay! It was close to everything we needed and was in a great central location to food and highway access.
