We stayed one night. No a/c. Pricey for 1 night. Very nice staff. We had the room at the end so we had a little more airflow with the sliding door open.

Balcony bay view was beautiful! Great price for waterfront.

The location near the park and water as well as a good coffee shop and other restaurantsis a great assets to this property.the front desk team was informative. The wifi situation needs addressing television channels, rely on it.Hence there was nothing to watch and you couldn't access it from the third floor which you had to walk up to.Since there is no elevator.

Great view, had a fridge and actual sink and friendly staff. But hotel seems a little outdated. Still uses a key to unlock the door, no key card, no ac but had a ceiling fan and a standing fan, and parking was tight had a little trouble getting out of my stall. And drop off key to check out no check out person until 8am

This is an older hotel, no a/c or elevator, still uses keys, looks beat down from the hallway. Nice clean pool and direct access to some lava rock tide pools. TBH the view of the bay and the sound of the waves made it worth it- but I’d sleep in my car for that sound! Microwave and fridge came in handy. A low cost option for Hilo.

NO AIR CONDITIONING, NO Elevators, unclean rooms. Disgustingly dirty.

Found hair, fecal matter, and a bad odor in my shower. Front office sent Brett to look at it. He removed it with his bare hands. He then went to interact with other customers and equipment in the hotel, and I did not see him wash his hands. When I approached the front office about this they offered no help. No offer for a different room, nothing. In fact when I asked them directly, "Guess I am sleeping in your parking lot tonight instead of inside?" They answered,"Yes". Then ignored me. I left and went to another hotel. This place is a dump and run poorly.

It was affordable & good enough for the reason I needed a hotel for a week, so I could be near the hospital. But if you are looking for a comfortable vacation stay, book elsewhere and pay the higher price, because as always, you get what you pay for. The rooms have no a/c, which I didn’t notice when I booked, I just assumed a/c is a given no matter where you stay, as well as WiFi. But there was no WiFi either, and the cell service in the room was horrible, so I couldn’t even get any work done at the hotel, I’d have to work on my computer whenever I’d go to the hospital. Although there was a fridge with freezer, the fridge didn’t get cold at all, and the freezer didn’t keep my things frozen, it was more like what the fridge should have been like. They only gave me 1 key, even though I had 2 adults that were on different schedules, but we made it work, and I’m thankful they let me have 2 vehicles. Half the jalousie levers were broken. However, they did have a sink in the room which was really nice, and a microwave, which worked wonderfully. I am thankful to have had a place to stay that was affordable on a last minute booking, but it could have been a lot more comfortable. It was also nice having the option to do laundry on site if I needed, and we did get to enjoy the pool. Overall if you just need a place to stay for other reasons, it was wonderful, but if you’re on vacation and would like the hotel get away feel, this was not it.

Much older property. Looks like an old apartment building. No AC. If you need it. Overall the stay was quiet and clean.
