Spark By Hilton Hilton Head Island

We checked into our room and were welcomed by two barking small dogs. Upon changing rooms, things were fine until morning when all the employees gathered outside our room to yell at each other. I would not stay here again.

The room was clean and remodeled. The breakfast was only fruit, bread, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs. The workout room was very dirty and hadn’t been cleaned as the towels hadn’t been washed, the mats were filthy, the toilet didn’t flush, and there were no wipes to clean the equipment off. The rooms did not have microwaves and the one in the lobby was leaking water. The only ice machine was on the main floor and there was only one elevator.

Room had roches. No smoke detector and only one half of shower doors on track.

Partner and I had a great experience other than a few small things. The room was a great value, walking distance to the beach and coligny shopping area, free breakfast was good, staff was nice, free parking, etc. The only big problem I had was the smell in the room. It smelled like a weird kind of cleaning supply but it lingered for the 2 nights we stayed. Wasn’t awful but it was noticeable and a little bothersome. Staff offered to help but there wasn’t much to do about it

The rooms were clean. The ice machine was out of ice everyday we tried to use it. The breakfast was mediocre. The parking was $10 a day which was expensive for the location.

Having to pay to park on the property is something else that now seems that more hotels are adding to additional costs but it balances out with not having to pay to park at the beach and with the beach being within walking distance.

When I called the front desk lady said , oh it happens, maintenance will be there the next day . Ummmmmm that was unacceptable No other offer no nothing!!! We were in town for a wedding so we just cut our stay short. We went to the store & bought zevo and sprayed down the whole room! I was creeped out the 3 nights we stayed there!!! I felt dirty & grossed out, didn’t even take any sheets or blankets off the bed, I went & bought my own !!!

The nicest staff anywhere!! They were so kind and helpful! The room was so clean and it was easy to get everywhere we needed to go from there. I will absolutely stay here again when!

Close to the beach. Always a parking spot That we were charged extra for parking spot

I am coming back in August and absolutely will not stay there again. I guess the no room service was because I was already paying too much for a bland room.

Decent place to stay. Clean. Parking is limited. No sidewalks from the hotel to the main road to get to the beach, but not a terribly long walk.

There was no microwave in room, so I thought there we could be one in lobby with breakfast, but there was not.

Everyone on staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Ice machine just outside our room made it noisy all night.

The room was clean. It was set back off main road. Hard to find. Pics online were better than real life.

This place was a motel that they made over.It was terrible.The amenities were terrible, and the staff was terrible.And we had to check in late

The only thing they should have is microwave and coffee maker in the bedroom.

Property clean. Staff very pleasant.

Great place to stay. Nice amenities. Walking distance to beach and restaurants.

It was convenient it was really nice people were nice Little hard to find but overall the experience was very good N/A

Great location , very close to the beach and Coligny. Staff very helpful, special mention to Ms. Leslie thanks for your help ! WiFi could be better. Pool area was nice but needs to be looked after (pool cleaned daily but towels need replenishing more often and bin emptied)
