Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Oak Resort Hilton Head

During our stay in Room 1606, we experienced a serious issue that significantly affected the quality of our stay. Of the two bedrooms in the suite, the bedroom closest to the entrance had an air vent located directly above the bed. The constant noise from the vent was loud throughout the day. Even more concerning, however, was that at night we could hear conversations from the neighboring room through the vent with remarkable clarity. We were able to hear their voices almost word for word, which made it nearly impossible to sleep and raised serious concerns about both noise insulation and guest privacy. We tried using earplugs, but they were ineffective because the voices were so clear and the noise continued throughout the night. We reported the problem to the hotel staff, hoping for a solution or an alternative room. Unfortunately, we were simply told that there was nothing they could do. We found this response extremely disappointing, especially at a Hilton resort where guests reasonably expect comfortable accommodations and a restful night’s sleep. We chose Hilton because of its reputation for quality and guest satisfaction, but this experience fell far below those expectations. The lack of sound insulation, the inability to sleep, and the staff’s failure to offer any meaningful assistance significantly diminished the value of our stay. I hope this issue is investigated and corrected so that future guests do not have to endure the same experience.

Lovely location and property. It didn't scream luxury resort tho. There is no real restaurant or spa or service beyond the front desk. You are a bit on your own after check in. But we had a nice time.

The pools weren’t too busy and we were able to have pool chairs daily. Easy to go back and forth from pool to ocean. We enjoyed lights out at 10pm, the resort was quiet and relaxing. Housekeeping was a little confusing as a “renter” vs member but front desk staff helped explain.

Omg the rooms were huge! Killer good time. 100% beach access, huge late night heated pool and hot tub, access to nightlife is very walkable, great parking access where ever you like.

The front desk staff was absolutely top-notch place was extremely clean and very nice very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this location.

Honestly, after the snafu with our Expedia reservation not being found in the system (Expedia had sent it to the wrong place) this hotel, the staff, the room, the location, and amenities were all perfect! I would recommend this hotel to any and all!
