Doubletree by Hilton Hilton Head Island

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large. Bathrooms could be bigger. limited Parking and you have to park on the street up to 1/4 mile down the road. Breakfast is $20 if purchased on site and is nothing more than the free breakfast you get at an ordinary hotel. Just go eat out somewhere else. Good location. Close to Coligny Plaza.

It was a beautiful hotel very friendly staff very accommodating I purchased a balcony room almost $500 a night and was not allowed to hit my vape without risking a 250 fine from the hotel and the toilet did not flush properly asked for assistance and I don’t think they ever came and fixed it

That it was close to beach access The parking is horrible, there is only limited spots, it’s really bad

Enjoyed our first time stay here. Everything was excellent except for a pot hole in the street that my finance kept hitting! Other than that, everything was great and we will definitely stay here again!

I loved the hospitality

Gentleman at check in was downright unhelpful, belligerent, and rude . Every time I tried to speak he shouted over me … totally unhelpful. Apart from that the staff and facilities and rooms were lovely.

Friendly staff, comfortable room

This was the absolute best day I’ve ever had at a hotel and I’m 53 years old. The service was so amazing and the food at the hotel was outstanding. This experience was so great and I will never stay anywhere but a Doubletree by Hilton!

I like the location and the price for the area. It’s always super clean. Angela, the very rude person at the front desk. She has absolutely no business working in customer service and the hospitality industry. She had the most nasty attitude I have ever experienced at a hotel front desk. Nicki was the best person we encountered as Angela’s replacement. Nicki 100% goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and is so pleasant and helpful.

The room was exceptionally and the staff was great!! No complaints

The parking area was horrible, and they double charge for a 2 night stay. Breakfast wasn’t free, 3/10 I do not recommend

The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony for a good breeze. The path to the beach is just across the street and an easy walk into town. We will be back

I booked a king room with a balcony. When we got there, we checked in, parked pretty far away, carried our luggage to out room only to find 2 queen beds. Noone informed us of a room change prior to walking in and finding out ourselves. It would have been nice to be informed when checking in at least. When i went back down to the desk to ask i was told there was probably a maintenence problem.They did offer us a free breakfast for the inconvenience but it doesn't change the bed size. When we checked out the women at the desk asked how our stay was. I explained again and she replied with oh your are supposed to have a free breakfast and a sorry. We declined the breakfast and she said ok you're good. No thank you. The parking is pretty far away from the hotel, they did have someone driving a golf cart to give you a ride back to the hotel which was nice when you have a lot to carry. Also cookies and waters when you checked in. Other than not being thanked for staying there the staff was friendly. The room was clean. The beds were not very comfortable, on the firm side. I sat in the desk chair and all most fell over backwards, that probably needed replaced. The tv was good. Over all it wasnt horrible but definitely did not live up to my expectations, which aren't that high.

I asked the waitress to warm my food that I had plated from the breakfast buffet. The kitchen staff came out and adjusted the warming table after that request.

Well kept, and modern. Nice breakfast with choices. Restaurant on site for dinner Parking. I was in the area to paint and it was a pain to drag my supplies so far to park. There is a golf cart pick up. It was only available once at the time I was parking over a week long stay.
