Greentree Inn Holbrook

My room was clean with the exception of the hard flooring. My bed was very comfortable. The hot water took about 5 minutes to heat up so don't give up! They have hot water. I have a dog and their pet fee was very reasonable and that was why I chose this location. The staff were very nice. Cute little town without of dining choices.

My three kids and I drove from Los Angeles, exhausted. After checking in, we immediately got ready for bed. Later, my 10-year old son started complaining that he was itchy and couldn't sleep. Lo and behold, he had small bites on his arm. We checked the bed and found a few small oval-shaped brownish bugs in his bed. We decided to leave. We went to the reception area, and because it was about 10:30, could not enter the lobby. There was only a night window. The woman working there said she was sorry to hear this (though not particularly surprised) and said that she couldn't give us a refund because she's not the manager. We would have to contact the manager on Monday. We left the hotel that night, assured of a refund. However, the manager Sandy (who was lovely) explained that she would have to talk to the owner. Days later, we call Sandy and she says the owner doesn't want to refund us our money. He doesn't think there are bedbugs in his hotel. I called Expedia, and they were very sympathetic. They lobbied the hotel on our behalf, but were told that unfortunately, the owner would not refund us any part of our money, even though it was clear we never stayed in the hotel. Expedia gave us a $25 credit, apologizing for the bad experience.

Do not recommend this hotel, very older and dirty.

Rooms were clean and comfortable; staff was friendly and helpful. Not many amenities and breakfast was minimal.

Nicely maintained property with clean rooms at a great price. Breakfast was nice, with yogurt, toast, bagels, and juice available.

Great place to stay for a good night sleep and to feel refreshed for the next travel day

The lobby smelled strongly of cigarette smoke as did our room. Breakfast was meager. Fruit is what you find in a packaged cup of yogurt. But it was the cigarette smoke smell in the lobby and the room that was the most bothersome.

Holbrook is my hometown, when we're passing through there we like stay there for a good night rest, the desk clerk is very helpful, can't remember her name. This early morning l left the room key in the room because I left after 3 am... thanks for the nice, quiet room.

This is a great reasonably priced option that covered all of the necessities. Clean, quiet, safe and close to food. Will stay here anytime I find myself in the Holbrook area.

Front desk staff is awesome! The room wasn’t as clean as reviews said it was. The window would not lock shut. For the price, and the location we would stay there again.

Clean modern - no chips cracks holes rusts bad smells. All is well quiet good upkeep basic breakfast safe and convenient will return. Great value.

Although there were plenty of properties to choose from in this area, there were so many closed or run down places around that it was kind of depressing. Restaurants were few and far between. The property was fine as a quick stopover. Breakfast was really not something you could count as a meal. The person behind the desk was very helpful.
