Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Hollister

Spent a week there. I felt like I was stuck. Check in I had to ask what room I was in and where the elevator was. I was met with attitude when staff gave an amser. Between being up all night with neighbors fighting one night and another night a neighbor discussing their drug deals in front of my 15 year old daughter. Staff did not respond to any of our asks for help. I had to ask for towels multiple times before I went down and grabbed some myself. I asked for room service and came in to 1 bed made and dirty towels still on the floor. Toilet paper rolls went unfilled until we went down and got toilet paper. When leaving at 630am we were met with weed being smoked at the exit point. At nightime it was often observed that one staff went from the sister hotel to this hotel leaving service unavailable for security issues. Overall the staff was very unprofessional. Expedia gave me a $250 credit but at this point I am very dissatisfied.

Very comfortable bedroom with separate TV and couch area. Wonderful walk in shower.

I liked the property very much because of the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the hotel.

Noisy hotel, no USB ports in rooms, missing couch in our room, bed was like sleeping on the floor, can hear all the people walking in the floor above. Staff was a bit rude when we checked in and for the amount the hotel costs, it was not worth it. Parking also sucks.

The staff is excellent but the facility needs work, our sink was clogged in the bathroom had to brush our thin the shower bathtub. They should have never rented our room, plumbing is never something to neglect!

Created a booking and when I arrived they said they had overbooked and I could not get a room, despite already making a reservation ahead of time, there was another couple there having the same issue I was, I inquired for a refund and they said I had to wait until tomorrow to speak to manager. I have called 6 times today and nobody has picked up the phone. I normally do not make reviews but this experience was just terrible. Extremely frustrating and would not recommend this hotel.

We stay often since family lives in Hollister. Staff is very nice and helpful.

We really love to stay there !!! The staff is so welcoming and kind , the hotel is super clean , the breakfast is great , lots of options. We stay often to visit family in the area.

Hotel was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and well stocked. Staff was friendly. I was able to watch my Netflix on the TV. They charge for parking. I am not sure how someone would even get there without a car, so everyone must pay for parking, seems kind of silly. A bit noisy when the traffic starts in the morning, windows could be more soundproof.

The room was very comfortable. Even though we were right next to the elevator, there was no noise. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee bar included soy milk and stevia which I appreciated. The only problem we encountered was a clogged up bathroom sink. When we advised the person at the desk on our way out from dinner, he seemed unsure about what to do about it and then said he would let maintenance know. The sink was still clogged when we returned from dinner and was not fixed before we checked out.

My second visit and it was as nice as the first. My room was in front on the driveway with a driveway light in my window.

Staff was welcoming.
